In your Nostalgic Jpop (Seiko Oomori) translation, there's the "Teacher, I’m paper" line with a *... what does the * stand for?

ah I’m sorry, I put the asterisk there with the intention of writing a foot note... and then didn’t 😅

in the line “せんせいあたしパーなんです”, I translated パー as “paper (specifically the hand gesture in rock-paper-scissors)”.  the asterisk is there because I don’t really understand where’s she going with that, and wasn’t sure if that’s what she meant? maybe a Seiko fan could shed some light on this for me...
