Im just stating that just because the law says your smart enough to make good decisions at 18, doesn't mean you actually are ahah. The government is notoriously known for being idiots. Much like 18 year old girls thinking a 36 year old loves her for her personality and accomplishments at such a young age 😂
u can say that about a person of any age. i got with my boyfriend at the age of 13 and we are still together 8 years later & very much in love. meanwhile, i know of plenty of women in their 30s and 40s who have been with many different men, had divorces, been cheated on etc… love and relationships doesn’t have an inherent age of maturity. anyway, i live in uk and girls here are allowed to get married & are considered women at the age of 16 so it will always be a touchy issue that has no one true enforceable & obvious answer to the question ‘when is a girl a woman & when should we treat her as one?’ bc we are all different in our levels of maturity, no matter our age. anyway, i don’t know why you would think an 18 year old is any less mature in terms of relationships than a middle aged woman but whatever - like i said, we all have our own different opinions on this matter so it is best to leave it alone in terms of theory. x
"How about not telling 18 year old girls who to date" is such a funny statement when you pair it with the word "grown and adult". You don't call a 30 or 40 female a "girl" you call her a woman... Because shes grown and an adult. You call an 8 year old a girl, you call a 12 year old a girl, and also apparently 18. If you're chasing men more than twice your age, and they chase back... That guy is messed up. Adults go for adults, boys and girls go for boys and girls. Just saying'
someone who’s 18 is an adult, by law and in name so u can call an 18 year old a woman and be correct but u can also say girl. ‘girl’ in my eyes can mean young girl and also young woman - i’m 21 and i prefer to refer to myself as girl rather than woman bc i associate the word ‘woman’ with middle aged women, even though i am technically a ‘woman’. soooo yeah semantics in this case make no difference whatsoever. you can think whatever you want is messed up, but that doesn’t mean other people have to share your opinion. some people think eating meat is messed up; others don’t. we don’t all see eye to eye so just accept it xxx
