If you’re “anti-proship” and genuinely think AO3 is hosting illegal content, why are you still using it? Because you just have to see your OTP? So “protecting kids” matters… until it means giving up a single fanfic site?

People who use AO3 aren’t bad people. But if you’re going to posture about being morally superior to proshippers, you should probably hold yourself to the same standard.

How're you guys holding up?

I know this was aimed for the event that happened with Ichiji.. but I owe you guys a LOT since I disappeared off the face of tumblr for so long.. Read more is placed here for sensitive material.

I’ve realized a lot since I’ve been gone. I’ve been struggling even more since Covid hit.. I lost my job.. nearly lost my apartment SEVERAL TIMES.. My depression hit me pretty hard.

I’ve also learned that I have a medical condition that blocks serotonin to my brain.. so that’s great. I’ve been suicidal lately, feeling as though I don’t belong here.. hoping that maybe if I do pass, I’ll wake up in another world like those isekai series that keep popping up. I’ve been wanting to puke after eating every meal.. I don’t want to get up in the morning. I don’t want to do anything.

I don’t have the right body. I don’t have the right mind. I don’t have anything.. I’m constantly tired.. and I feel as though my writing and art are just mediocre at best.

I love these characters.. but I feel like they’re just bland and no one really wants them around. Ayase is too nice.. too motherly.. and she’s fallen into the ‘ODA DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO WRITE WOMEN’ category.. and Spade has fallen into the ‘annoying little bastard’ category for being a typical shounen protagonist according to some reviews from anonymous viewers.

I’m getting to the point where I just want to give up on everything. Art.. writing.. hell.. I’m even giving up on living. What else can I do other than lay in bed and stare at the ceiling like the fat fuck I am?

I want to say I’m sorry to each and every one of you.. and please.. forgive me. I don’t feel worthy of nearly 500 followers when I hardly come online in the first place.

I know that some folks dislike the “dog” references in TDT, so I’ll tag this as sensitive, as well as Ronsey. Personally, and I’ve addressed this on my other blog, I don’t see it as a true power imbalance between the two of them. Given the type of person Gansey is and how he cares about his friends, he actually considers Ronan his equal. But when things went to shit for Ronan, Ronan gave over some part of himself to Gansey’s care, and doesn’t mind when someone sees it with a sharp edge, because he’s seeing himself with sharp edges. (CDTH alludes to Gansey keeping him from doing something terrible with his life.) So I see the dog references a little differently, and respect those whom it bothers. <3

About 5 years ago, I got lost in a city in Alabama. I pulled over,smoked a cigarette and just sat in a bench thinking what to do next. Guy shouts from Across the street "your sexy! Why are you alone this late?" He got out of his car and approached me and I told him I was searching for Gods message. I felt a pulling of him towards Alabama. I was explaining to him that I sound crazy but I'm just a spiritual person. Anyways, he showed me his tats that had scriptures from the bible and said he understood me and that I could stay with him that night. I know I know. STRANGER DANGER. But I felt like I could trust him...ANK! wrong. I was totally wrong.

During the night, I felt dizzy and intoxicated. Kinda euphoric. Colors were popping. And it all looked so beautiful like an abstract painting. I woke up naked next to a stranger. The same stranger with scriptures tatted on his body. John I believe is his name. I was terrified. Like what happened? All I remember was having one beer and off to wonderland I went. I ran in a hurry to my car and I left my guitar. :( I left it to have a reason to come back and get him arrested. Those were my thoughts. But while I was driving back home I got dizzy and felt dehydrated. Thoughts were racing. Did not feel good at all. I started to remember the whole night and I cried because that guy drugged me and took advantage of me. How stupid am I? I got to Marietta and my cousin suggested I go to the hospital. I did and they kept me there. Because i was having a psychotic break down? Then I was sent to a psychiatric facility. It was horrible. 10 days of Hell. I was harrassed constantly by the staff. I complained a lot. They weren't giving me the right treatment for someone that has just been raped and I figured that my purpose in life was to help woman that are in the same situation. I felt that God put me in this situation to see what its like to be hospitalized or misdiagnosed after being raped. I could help a lot of people if I study and learn about the healthcare system and the laws to help patients similar to me. I felt like that's the only reason God would have me here in this Hell.

Because After you are raped you are different. Everything changes. At least it did for me. I couldn't trust anyone. I thought people were out to get me. I felt alone and heard voices. It was scary. Only thing that kept me afloat was my book "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young. I felt like God was testing my faith in him. I prayed a lot.

Finally,I was discharged. And was medicated for a year. All I remember was sleeping the whole time. Then it became 2017. I took different meds and became aware of what had happened and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I remember being afraid of leaving my room. Afraid that people would judge me. Afraid that I have failed as a Christian. So many fears. It was Hell. I started to go to therapy. I had anti social anxiety and PTSD She treated me with EMT. Idk if it worked or not. But it was nice to talk to someone for a change. I had been isolated for a year and a half so I felt like a newborn baby deer learning how to walk. I had to relearn how to have a normal conversation in public. How to walk,dress and behave.

Anyways. The point of this entry is for me to relieve myself from any shame I might have. Talking about mental health and rape isn't easy for me but I'd like to help someone that might be going through some stuff similar to my past. By the grace of God I am Alive and well. I no longer hear voices nor am I scared to leave the house. I am finally back to my old self. I have forgiven my rapist. I have forgiven myself. I'm loving life again. I just want you to know if you've been raped or abused that it might seem like it's the end of the world and feel like giving up on life but there is help out there. People that are willing to listen to you and make you feel safe for Free. And your life is not over,its just a bump in the road. Keep going. And when you finally feel whole again remember to help those that are falling and feeling hopeless. Help when you can not while you're still recovering. That was hard for me to accept but I get it now. And you will too. Call 2-1-1 for immediate assistance. They will direct you to counselors and therapists that will talk you through any crisis. I have a few other resources and info for anyone that would like it just message me. I'm here for you. Thanks for reading about my life. Love yall.

First, you are on my blog and this blog is ruled by a die-hard McDanno shipper - me. It’s not the first time I write something Anit-Catherine/Steve. So, I ship Steve and Danny, I don’t want Steve back with Catherine because I ship McDanno. That’s kind of obvious, right?

Second, you read an anon ask. You read my answer and there’s even a CUT where you have to click on to get to my post to read the whole answer. So, you read some of my answer or the whole answer as I assume, although you are sensitive when it comes to this topic!? Why didn’t you stop reading?
