New pictures have been released of stolen classified documents, including nuclear secrets, which Donald Trump had been keeping at Mar-a-Lago.
They were haphazardly strewn about with odd bits of clothing, cases of Diet Coke®, old newspapers, and just plain junk. These make the previous photos depicting classified materials stored in the bathroom and on a small stage look downright orderly by comparison.
Not only was Trump keeping these materials illegally, but he was not bothering to maintain them in any conceivable order.
Chris Hayes and former federal prosecutor Kristy Greenberg discussed the constantly changing defense by Trump's attorneys regarding his illegal possession of these documents.
The most important question regarding these files at Mar-a-Lago is: What was Trump intending to do with them?
It's not like Trump's an avid reader – he probably hasn't even completely read the books which he had ghost writers write for him. And because he probably hasn't personally written anything longer than a scurrilous social media post in decades, it's not like he was using them to write a memoir or a thesis on nuclear strategy.
Here's one of the newly released photos on the way Trump stored purloined American state secrets at Mar-a-Lago.
