current plot developing technique is writing a list of things each character would consider a nightmare scenario and then seeing how close I can get to that :)

This story is currently unnamed, which is a blessing or a curse. Can't decide. For now, everything is under the pld tag. A description of said story is as such:
Annah gets kidnapped and sets off a series of near death experiences that can only be described as supernatural. She enlists the help of her would be kidnappers- Lafayette and Cleophas (it was an accident, they swear)- to do the equivalent of “I know a guy who knows a guy” with magical knowledge until they can 1: find the cause of this magical sniper dot that appeared on her chest, and 2: kick its fucking ass. Except they’re all convinced Annah’s going to die in her sleep if they stop moving, so everyone’s about to have the worst sleep deprived weekend of their lives.
I have three stories planned out (we'll see if stays that way upon writing), that goes a bit like
1 what the fuck is trying to kill annah
2 how the fuck has this not already killed annah and how to we keep it going
3 how do we remove said thing trying to kill annah
Main characters of this story include (but are not limited to)
PLD:
Annah: a bitch and we love her so much. Is she leadership material or is she just really bossy? Read three novels to find out.
Baz: feral, but in that he wasn’t socialized when he was young and is now what the shelter would describe as “a difficult case”
faith (has no tag apparently): extrovert but like, it made her weird. The Face. Cheerful in a suspicious way.
quinn (also has no tag??): introvert but like, it made her weird. The only organized person in this story. This would make you think she has her shit together. This would be incorrect.
Lafayette and his two gay dads:
Lafayette: wet, pathetic little man. Anxious. Positive qualities include: thank god he’s pretty, extensive knowledge of swords.
Cleophas: mom friend, provided your understanding of mom is “a weird little guy”
Lothorios: wow! A normal person! Oh thank god. Finally. Oh wait, nevermind. Fuck.
Plus many more!
The story brings two groups of people (Lafayette and his family + PLD sorority members) together under a single desire of not wanting Annah dead. Will they succeed? Will annah do bullshit that prevents them from succeeding? dude I don't even know, I'm just the author.
One of my biggest problems when writing is that I get a good way through a piece and then go "hmm wouldn't it be better if you wrote it like X instead of Y?" and then become so overwhelmed with decision paralysis I can no longer create.
hey google docs
i got some questions
me, trying to write:
write a fantasy story
possess the absolute inability to keep a minor character’s race the same from one scene to the next
???
profit
bless our collective fandom son, but Angus McDonald is a lawful good character and writing him is torture
bmi is stupid, harmful, and dangerous. but bmi charts are the only way i’ve ever been able to even somewhat gauge how much a person might weight based on their height. i don’t know what someone who’s 6′5″ would weigh, I have no clue. i don’t even know what i should weigh. it’s all inscrutable and vague.
