I'm gonna say it, how SOME people treat characters with wives in specifically forsaken fandom is so shitty in both ways. Remember the key word some cause not everyone will do this alright? There's two things I'll talk about here, lets start with the one I'm more annoyed about. When people make art of the said straight ship, example daisy and guest and comments " OH MY GOD FINALLY A STRAIGHT SHIP!!! " or something along the lines of that. It's just simply shitty behavior, I'm someone who's queer and loves most straight ships to be fair and it makes me feel like the crowd who likes the same ships as me will fuckin hate me? No wonder people ship the gay ships cause you guys treat gays and lgbt+ as wrong for not shipping the canon! Another is when people mischaracterize the wife in the relationship just so they can divorce or something for the guy to get his boyfriend whatever.. Its a case in once again Guest x daisy forsaken related. I'm gonna say it's alright if you make them divorce, or break off... ON GOOD TERMS. Daisy would NEVER be abusive, or rude to Guest 1337. My conclusion, it is alright to like straight ships just don't be a homophobe in your same breath and do not mischaracterize a woman just for your gay happily ever after ok? I know this has been happening in fandom for ages, but it doesn't make it less wrong.
