Gardeners of Mars
The first creatures to came out of Marsian oceans were sponges and slime fish. After leaving their humid domain, they observed the land guarded by their original creators. Yulakai – who have grown the fields of grasses and weeds – first plants of Mars, sprouting to the skies with their yellow flowers. Yulakai observed the first grains of intellect in monk sponges, as well as their natural leaning towards magic, and altered their evolution in a way they could become their successors. They created the Wafa – first centient race on originated in solar system. They learned them to use magic, and changing life around them. And the apprentices caught the teachings on the fly. Wafa will outlive the presence of Yulakai on Mars. They will build their cities and in the warm coastal waters, they will see civilisations rise and fall, and in the end they will see an end of Mars…
