Sentence prompts: It took him a disturbingly long time to realize that the wetness coating his hand was not in fact water.
Oh man I couldn't think of anything for this one for ages, but then I remembered drunken teenage parties. However, I will NOT be contained to 5 sentences. Posting it before it gets any longer
It took him a disturbingly long time to realize that the wetness coating his hand was not, in fact, water. Not the ocean he'd been walking in, hand in hand with the girl with clips in her brown hair, watching a trio of kids splash ahead of them. Reaching down to pick up a shell, feeling the Pacific and if he was really there, warmer than any pool he'd ever swam in. Hot, almost. And smelling like-
Dumped back into reality, Steve scrambled out of the way so fast that he crashed right off the edge of bed and onto the floor. Head pounding, he squinted up at the overhead light to see Tommy H standing over where he'd just been, still wearing that damn Burger King crown as if he was anything special for making homecoming court. Pants unzipped, hand at his crotch, dribbling onto the mattress as he howled with laughter.
"I told you he'd think it was piss!" More laughter, this time from whoever was watching from the other side of the room. Energetic enough to suggest he was still drunk, Tommy hopped down to reveal an empty beer bottle. "Hair of the dog, lover boy."
"Why's it hot, and where-" Suddenly remembering why he'd been in the bed in the first place, Steve hauled himself upright, fighting gravity and his own churning stomach. It was a wasted effort. The bed was empty apart from a dark circle where the beer had soaked into the blankets. "Where'd she go?"
"What, you expected her to stay? After getting fucked by you?" More laughter, almost painfully loud with the hammer in his brain. Tommy slapped him on the shoulder, the impact making his teeth clack together. "Hate to keep telling you this, Stevie, but you gotta last more than fifteen seconds."
Flopping back to horizontal, Steve screwed his eyes shut, took several deep breaths to settle the spinning, and held up his middle finger for all of them to see.
"Don't forget to clean up your mess."
"You might have to once you scare off every girl in the county."
"You see what I have to deal with? Just a miserable bastard nowadays, can't even take a joke anymore." Tommy's voice faded away as they all left the room, hopefully heading off to harass someone else. "Little Andy was more fun than him, and he didn't even last until midnight!"
Send me a first sentence prompt (and maybe a character to make it more specific) and I'll eventually write at least five more!
