‘Light sat himself down behind him. He crossed his legs and balanced the flashlight on himself, trying to find enough light to work with as he unravelled a small part of the bandage. Without another word, he started wrapping it around the lower part of his torso and abdominal region to cover the injuries, which were both around three or four inches in length like huge claw marks. Just from looking at them, he could tell they hadn’t been done by the frenzied infected itself and that he’d simply caught himself against the wall as he fell, but tried to avoid telling him after he caused a bloody massacre with his gun. The infection itself could spread in many ways, and the transfer of blood was one of them.
