It was in Yuri’s nature to try and check on other’s in a subtle manner. To see if they’re okay or just need a lending ear, but he won’t push it if they don’t need it.

“I don’t see a problem with that,” He waves his hand, eyes wandering to the rows and rows of books before him. Reading wasn’t exactly his forte. It was something he could hardly bring himself to focus on, but he hopes he didn’t interrupt Mileena’s moment of being sentimental.

“Huh... Maybe.” He answers, but his mind is occupied with thinking about his companions. The ones that aren’t here in Tir Na Nog, and he’s wondering how they’re doing, but Yuri’s not about to share that with Mileena. It would only make her feel guilty. Besides, his ‘true’ self is still in his original world from his understanding. The him that’s here now is a... Reflection, a copy. Something like that.

There was something distinctively....different with Ladylake. At least if she could call it that. From a distance it seemed to be the very same lakebound city that the seraph had spent centuries watching over but the more you observed it became clear just how....wrong it was. The structures of buildings where there once was a smooth transition between the old and more modern constructions now laid mix matched patches, some of it being as obvious as differently coloured bricks.  The people that would once make acknowledgements of her image now was now near nonexistent.... And  Uno’s blessing.

She couldn’t feel it, she couldn’t even feel his presence anywhere. 

The water seraph has made home in Ladylake long before her existence ever came to be and the blessing he bestowed the land with was one she’s found serenity in from day one. But it was gone now. Not even a trace of it remained and it was enough to cause Alisha’s posture to stiffen in a way that it hadn’t in eons. In fact she couldn’t remember the last time she felt such unease, such a sicking feeling that wasn’t a result of malevolence. 

    “What... What is going on here? I wasn’t gone that long...!”
