hi! me again! was looking through internet human stuff i missed and found the sheet that had plans on it. i think that seeing steam would be AWESOME!!! would they be a (mostly) benevolent rich person? or perhaps the embodiment of a ceo? i feel like they wouldn’t have changed too much, just gotten wealthier and wealthier instead. ALSO i’m not sure if they fit the eligibility of becoming human but what about discord? would they be like a mailman/club host combo? ESPECIALLY after all the age verification stuff, methinks they’d be interesting to explore. sorry for my mini-yap but I LOVE YOUR CHARACTERS AND UNIVERSE RAHHHHHH
I'm glad people are enjoying internet humans!!! I think there's potential for it as an avenue for design & as a way to record internet history! As for Steam and Discord...
Steam is like... That one Costco CEO who threatened to kill a board member for suggesting that they raise the price of the hotdog. He's chill like that! Yes he's deleted hackers from existence, yes, he's brokered peace treaties in the console wars, but he's still approachable and gives out the best deals on the market! He's got it pretty good and doesn't want for much.
Discord, meanwhile, is VERY sus, despite how nice they are! IRL Discord has implemented a (very dumb and bad) AI features and the age verification thing. But they always have an alibi so it's fine, right? Anyways, I figured Discord is more like an event venue seller than a host? Maybe Nitro is like a country club membership lol

The hat is supposed to mimic the shape of the logo. That's what started me thinking 'cowboy aesthetic'. Then, I realized the tassels could be a reference to all the discord channels a server has! Between those, Discord ended up being one of those wedding vendors who decorates it like a ranch? But they aren't actually a cowboy lol.
The robot hand is a loving reference to the bots of Discord! I don't think I've been on a server that didn't have at least one bot. Though maybe I should have gone with a more fancy prosthetic? The one I drew was for actual farmwork, not the rancher/vendor lifestyle. The boots are fancy but only kind-of tell that story. Maybe having a more hand-like prosthetic would have helped out?
It's hard to tell cause of the jacket but I did try to give them more padding on their chest and belly. I wanted them to feel stocky but round, give them a bit more softness.
Steam gets a dad bod. Because Steam has been one of the best companies out there, looking out for gamers and that's incredibly hot. So he get the certified DILF energy, a Hawaiian shirt with his logo on it, and a cool ass cup. This is the highest honor I can award.
(I also refer to Steam with He/Him pronouns because of the DILF thing, but also it's good to have benevolent masc role models!)
Steam would have been bald/balding but, looking at Steam'a UI, there's not a lot of soft, rounded edges. It's very angular, sleek, and structural. So, I gave him slicked back hair with silver roots instead. I feel like I probably should have added a fancy watch or something, just to show he is very successful, but isn't trying to rub it in people's faces.
