"Ah, I wish they would leave us alone, haven’t they seen humans eating before?" Seolhyun ran her fingers through her wind mused hair, huffing in annoyance before pressing her hands against her knees, bending slightly in an effort to catch her breath. Realising how stupid she looked, she promptly burst into a fit of laughter, eyes crinkling into half-crescents as she peered at her best friend, "Fuck Sooj, I didn’t think I would be this unfit after all that dancing but some things just don’t change— I guess that fried chicken did a number or two on my general health." They paraded down the street (as discretely as possible) and Seolhyun surveyed the shops, rubbing her stomach unconsciously, "That’s where you’re wrong unnie (she stressed, just to gain a reaction out of the older), I have a completely separate stomach for dessert!”
“Not humans as pretty as you though,” she teased lightly with a wink, laughing as she practically dragged the other girl in the direction of the cafes in her excitement at the thought of getting dessert. “Dancing just isn’t the same as running, eh? We can dance for hours just fine but we can’t run a hundred meters without feeling like our lungs are about to burst. I think I need to start exercising again.” She stopped abruptly right in front of the store to level a glare at the girl, standing up straight in an attempt to look as menacing as possible (even though she knew it wouldn’t work). “Call me unnie again and I won’t pay for your dessert. Also I’ve said that before, you totally stole that line from me!” Her accusation wasn’t serious though, evident by the grin on her face as she dragged the girl into the cafe and to a table hidden away in the corner, where they were least likely to be spotted again. “We pick a dessert each, and then we share, okay?”
“How did they find us?”
“I don’t know but fuck, that was a close one.” Soojung leaned against the wall, lips parted to take in more oxygen after that little brisk walk they had taken to avoid the crowd of fans. Who knew brisk walking could be so tiring? After the initial panic faded away though, she felt annoyance settle in. This was the biggest reason why she disliked being a celebrity -- she couldn’t even have a quiet lunch with her friend without having being disturbed. She looked over at her best friend, and felt her annoyance slowly fade away. There was no point in letting something like that ruin their day, especially when they rarely got to go out like this. “Well that was a nice after-meal activity. Cleared some space for dessert, don’t you think?” Grinning lightly, she hooked her arm around the other girl’s and started in the direction of the shops again, after making sure that they weren’t about to be chased again. “I know a great place.”
