Hello? It's me!
It has been a long while since I last opened my Tumblr account! I was still in college, on my emotional days, helldays and whatsoever when I posted my pointless dramas. And I guess, I’m back for good. Posting to express and not only to seek attention. Yes, I’ve changed a lot. Or should I say I bunch. It feels nuts to be back! From teenage Ninya to Nina Seonsaengnim. From hatred in teaching to being passionate in teaching English as second language to Koreans.
And hey! Here I am! Completely 사생!!
어디에 있어요? 하다 하다 하다 있어요 !!! /laughs.
it's been a week since my last entry and we're just roughly 4 hours of lessons away from our finals huhu. that means we're so close to finishing the whole korean 10 subject. wow. time really does fly so fast.
in just a week, i already know how to tell the time (even though sometimes, i still get confused with sino-korean and pure korean numbers. sighs. i should really work on this one) and how to recite my birth date and the date today. i am also able to read and understand simple paragraphs yes!!! but only the ones written on the book.
haha. the listening test thoughㅡ i guess i'm slowly improving with my listening skills??? i mean, i can comprehend most of what they (andy, sora, mina and friends) were talking about. but not the whole conversation yet. maybe 팔십 부터 구십오 까지 percent??? haha. maybe around those numbers. then i really try hard to listen when it was being played again for me to understand the whole tape. although i find it enjoyable whenever i get to answer the questions for it right haha. 기분이 좋아요 (●´∀`●)
although i'm not that quick yet on reading (i still have to work on this too along with numbers), i guess i at least improved on it. i honestly got better compared to my poor reading skills last week huhu. but i guess that's a good sign.
verbsㅡ i'm average? i can already change their forms to -아요/어요 form and also to -았어요/었어요 form. though w hispers i still get confused with a lot of verbs and words, especially those with almost similar sounds and spellings. but i’m still having a hard time with the polite formal form of the verbs. perhaps i just really got used with -아요/어요 so that’s why maybe it still sounds so different in my ears. i just need to get used to it. my vocabulary is still limited to what we only tackled, but i think i need to make effort as well to go and learn other words aside from those what we've studied so far.
also i'm enjoying andy and mina's relationship and actually looking forward to what's going to happen to them next i- ;;;
despite learning kor 10 for only two weeks, which seems too quick compared with other regular subjects on midyear, i actually already learned a lot from it. at first, all i know are those expressions i always hear in the kdramas and kvariety shows that i’m watching but now i can already construct my own sentences, can already tell other people about how i feel and what i want to say to them. and that really made me glad and ecstatic. i really want to learn the language more and i guess i’m having a great start for that to happen.
Forever exists. You just have to wait for it.
