The last place I want to show you as a part of my Seoul Theme Tour with @visitseoul_official VR Tour (check it out on their YouTube channel) is one of my favorite hide outs in Seoul - another beautiful temple to transport you through time ❤️ GILSANGSA TEMPLE - 길상사 Everyone who knows I am a huge fan of traveling through time by visiting places from different eras 🏃‍♀️ Seoul has so much to offer in terms of its history, from palaces to museums. But I’d like to recommend a little temple on the South side of Seoul - Gilsangsa is a rather new temple, created form a former restaurant in 1997 but it feels like you are truly in a hundred years older Seoul. It is small but has unique buildings and lovely nature to see. Plus once you walk down the road, you can enter many popular restaurants and cafes, each of which can take you to other decades! Created by one of the biggest entertainment agencies in Korea, it is a popular spot for many music fans and I’d definitely recommend it even if you aren’t one of them 😊 music is a huge part of Korean modern culture and this place can show you just how diverse it can be! Plus, you can take many awesome photos in front of all the colorful displays including special VR photos! If you are in Seoul for one day, this 1-Day itinerary will help you to make the best of your time. We will be spending our whole day trying to explore all the famous tourist attractions and famous spots that are located at or alongside the Line 2 i.e Green Line 2 (Green Line) 🚊 🥰 Well, we will depart from Sindorim Station as that’s the closest station from my home 🙂 9:00 AM Sindorim to Hongik University Station On the way to Hongik Uni station, you will have the best best of Seoul’s Han River. 9:20 AM Hongik University Station – the so-called Young District for it is always crowded with youngsters and you’ll always see various street performances around the year. If you come out of exit 9, a walk of 5 mins will take you to the famous street where you will see a lot of performances. 11:00 AM Lets hop on the Line 2 again and go to the next destination. Get off at the City Hall Station and come out of exit 1. You will be like “WAOO” once you see the marvelous building of City Hall and the ground. One of the most Instagrammable places. Don’t forget to take photos in front of the I.SEOU.U sign. 12:00 PM Ok get off at the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station and come out at exit 1 or 10. Here you are, seeing one of the most beautiful buildings of Seoul – Dongdaemun Design Plaza. 3:00 PM Now it’s time to see one of the tallest buildings of the world i.e Lotte Tower. We will arrive around 3:30 PM and we will get off at Jamsil Station – Take the exit #1 and you are in front of the Korea's tallest building. Let's go inside and have our lunch at an Indian Restaurant. 5:00 PM Let's go and see the biggest LED display that the world is talking about. Get off at the Samseong Station (Exit 6) to watch the beautiful display of 3D waves. Go inside the COEX mall and be amazed with this humungous library. 7:00 PM Your trip would be incomplete without going to Gangnam and taking picture at the famous "Ganganam Style" sign (exit 4). We will also have our dinner here. Well time to go to our room again. The most popular one is bukcheon hanok village but its soooo crowded due to its popularity sk let me tell you about the not so new hanok village at the northwestern part of Seoul Eunpyeong district. If you dint have time to travel to jeonju one of my fave slow city in korea this is the place that resemble jeonju in seoul.
