What Separates The Rich From Others
Merry Christmas High Performer
Start your week powerfully with this week’s edition of Sunday Soar -
What I’m grateful for, the lesson I learned last week, and what I’m looking forward to this week.
Please forward this along to your friends.
What I’m grateful for
What makes the rich stand out from other people?
The way they think.
Because they think differently,
Their perspective, feelings, and behaviors are different.
Subsequently, their results are different.
Five ways rich people separate themselves from others:
They are specific.
They decide what they want and go for it.
They have a system in place.
Strategy will always trump resolutions.
They respect the small.
Life is a game of inches.
They understand that it’s the small things that keep you from becoming all you are created to be.

Lesson I learned last week
"A cheerful disposition is good for your health;
Gloom and doom leave you bone tired," the wise Solomon said.
We need strong and healthy minds, bodies, and spirits to achieve our goals.
To do this we need to be deliberate about what we allow into our system.
Instead of taking in at random whatever comes our way,
Your mind and body are God's gift to you,
How you feed, take care of, and use them is your gift to him.

Love the video. I used to jugde contemporary books a lot harsher because it's set in reality. I see myself not doing that so much anymore and separate myself from the character even though most characters are relatable to the reader, but I realized but it's mostly based on the author's point of view and even though the author is writing it for us it's not really for us is normally. Just how the author grew up or sees the world in their point of view and there's bits and pieces of that within each character. Even though it may not completely reflect on the author themselves, it may be based on people around them. Normally when I read contemporary or fantasy novels I just look at the characters lifestyle or background to see why they may think certain things are okay even though it may not be okay to us. For the life of me I couldn't remember the book, but in this book the female character was in a gaslighting relationship and I'm just sitting there reading this book b**** get out this relationship. I gave it such a low rating but after reading it again I realized that the female character never been around people who had good relationships. Growing up her great-grandparents had a very physically abusive relationship, her grandparents ended up divorced over some emotional abuse and her parents had a mix of both. So when she grew up she ended up having a history of certain relationships that reflected those that she grew up around and it was completely romanticized but then I realized it's just from her point of view, even though she realized that problem and tried fixing it, just like some people in the world go though. Even though I still don't like the book I appreciate being able to look through characters eyes even though it's so damn hard not to separate my views from the character's point of view.
TODAY'S WORD, THOUGHT AND PRAYER FOR VICTORY From Joel Osteen “Separate Yourself”
So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself...] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes...
-2 Timothy 2:21
Are there people or activities in your life that you know you need to separate yourself from? The Bible says that bad company will corrupt good morals. God wants you to constantly be growing and rising higher in life. That’s why this verse encourages us to separate ourselves from corrupting influences. Bad influences are more than just the people in your life—it can be anything that wrongly influences your thinking.
Be careful about what you are allowing into your mind. Be careful about what you read and what you watch on TV or the internet. Don’t give your attention to things that are going to drag you down. Choose to separate yourself today. Remember, God wants you to live an abundant life. He wants you be separate so that He can work through you and fulfill His purposes in your life!
Father, thank You for Your Word which is the truth that sets me free. Give me strength to separate myself from anything that does not honor You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Separate Yourself
Are there people or activities in your life that you know you need to separate yourself from? Separate yourself from corrupting influences. Bad influences are more than just the people in your life-it can be anything that wrongly influences your thinking.Be careful about what you are allowing into your mind. Be careful about what you read and what you watch on TV or the internet. Don’t give your attention to things that are going to drag you down. Choose to separate yourself today. You deserve to live an abundance life. Separate so you can fulfill your purposes in your life! Focus on the good things that are in store for you. Don't allow the circumstances of life to drag your thoughts down. Set your mind on things above. Having higher thoughts means thinking, "I am blessed and highly favored. I am above and not beneath. I am a victor, not a victim. My path shines brighter and brighter every day!" When you allow those higher thoughts to fill your mind, they will direct your steps. You will see yourself as an overcomer and live the abundant life that is in store for you!
