I'm really not one who fiddles around in photo mode on many occasions but it is dangerous in this game...so many breath-taking locales...I'm sure it's the mix of audio-visual and fairly laid back puzzle-platforming (which isn't to say it can't be challenging at times but it is chill) that causes me to ease into photo made but sephonie is such a cool, grand island...

#taupe plays sephonie #tbh i actually really like the platforming mechanics. you get into the rhythm of them really quickly #and it's so very non-conforming which is probably why i can enjoy it. less 'twitchy'/reactive/'precision' in the way #many platformers over the last idk 10 years have felt? like it feels more methodical if anything #there's a flow to it that doesn't feel hard to fumble...perhaps the trickies to execute is the wall run?#but sometimes that can be you just came at the level geometry the wrong way #sephonie

my advice btw to anyone who liked the intense surrealism at the end of the dunmesh manga and the ecological worldbuilding of the entire thing is to play sephonie, which will scratch your itch on both of those things heavily (it’s also on sale right now)
