The picture was from just a few hours earlier, when Sephos had visited Makena after hearing he had woken up. Makena was in the middle with Sephos squishing cheek to cheek with him on his left, and Hontep was smiling pleasantly on Makena’s right. And while Sephos looked delighted while having his lips pushed into an air kiss while winking, Makena looked rather disgruntled from embarrassed reluctance to have his picture taken. For a good reason since he was currently sporting a deep blue lipstick kiss mark on his forehead, and a similar dark purple lipstick kiss on his temple. The same shade of the lipstick Sephos was wearing in the picture. “Apparently people in Hontep’s city will come to her and her kin for kisses on the head as some sort of blessing for good health. I found it delightful, so I simply had to join in the fun,” Sephos explained, radiating pride for his handiwork.

Hontep: A guardian for the temple to the goddess Hal El, she both protects the site and performs various priestess duties for the goddess.
Makena: A mecha knight from a world where he's just another soldier. His aging has been artificially halted, and a mechanical implant in his head allows him mild thought control of Bidi, his bug drone, and potentially other machines as well.
Sephos: One of three guild leaders on Lakaur. A puppet master who uses his own hair to form magic strings to manipulate various mannequins. He also has a passion for sewing, and has often been called the guild's wine aunt without the wine.
