INTERMISSION
2# - Nasiya's Research Paper on: Sepien
A very social species of seafolk. They typically roam along the shallow coastlines, gathering materials and hunting small fish and crustaceans using their various arms and tentacles with frills on their back and sides to simulate.
They’re rather intelligent people. I had the pleasure of meeting one during my travels. While she happily modeled for me to describe a sepien’s features, She spoke to me of how I stand out among my fellow researchers, all while her body’s colors began to shift to match my own.
They live short lives compared to the other various seafolk, matching that of their cuttlefish lineage, reaching maturity very early on in their life and dying shortly after giving birth. I doubt the woman I met in the past is still alive but perhaps I will keep her memory alive through this journal entry.
Chapter 3 is coming out next week! See all of you back on the Amaranth!
