EDITS. the funeral of samuel winchester (5x22, ft @sept18mbr)
────────────── she could recognize him anywhere , instantly knew who it was by the set in his shoulders and the outline of his figure . it’s a mistake she had made many times , wishful thinking conjuring тнє σηє ωнσ gσт αωαу , but there was no confusion this time around . head ducks down in minor avoidance as @sept18mbr walks past her for the first time , fingers dance around her third beer --------- of course she would be running into dean winchester , after all these years . she knows exactly why he was there , probably working the same exact job that she was . he hadn’t changed much since the last time she’d seen him , except he’d lost most of the boyish features that she’d grown to love so much ( after all , cheeky grin and sheepish attitude was all part of the winchester charm ) , clearly hardened by the years of the torturous work they do . there was a lot for the two of them to catch up on …
she finishes the drink in one shot , gestures to the bartender for more liquid courage before figure spins in the bar stool , hand outreaches for his leather - clad shoulder . “ winchester ( . . . ) it’s been a while . ”

@sept18mbr : ❛ going for blood today, are we, jess? ❜
the smile that pulls on her face is more amused than anything else at dean's words ; if she can get under either winchester brothers skin right now , she's choosing to take it as a win for her . " what's wrong , dean ? i thought i've been pretty nice to you and sam lately . considering . " she says , offering a single shoulder shrug as if it makes anything better .
her gripe might not be with dean , not truly , but him & sam were a unit , practically one . it was everyone else against the two of them , after all . she really did respect that . she may have sisters that she thought she would do anything for , but its hard to compare anything to the way the two of them are . she cocks her head to the side after a moment , glad that she doesn't have to tilt her whole head back just to look at him . " what , did you want me to apologize or something ? "

AITA for being so dyslexic that my dad tried kill me? / @sept18mbr
" you're not dyslexic, dean " an absent answer , not even looking up . you've been buried in research for HOURS , the crappy second hand laptop has been protesting for just as long . the good one the one dean got you at stanford only for you to pretend you don't know to protect the ' no girly talk ' rule had gotten damaged during a hunt a few weeks back .
irreparably .
this one does the job for now , until you have enough money put aside to waste . it was no mac . so between the way it overheats and the general frustration of using it AT ALL , you've threatened to fling it against the wall a handful of times . it's barely been a month .
what you need is peace , some focus , a mediation podcast to get you through this .
what you have is a dean .
the annoyance taking the shape of an OLDER BROTHER has attempted a new distraction every hour , though not exactly on the hour . his time keeping wasn't that good . maybe he had an attention deficit . " ... i think . you read FINE . " john , of course , never would have gotten dean tested so there's no way to know for certain .
you don't dispute the john trying to kill him part . there's no point , your childhoods were one extended experiment on how to get two kids killed . even if not intentional or direct . " aren't you running out of beer by now ? shouldn't you go to a bar . or a shop . you could be kind and get me a coffee ! "
drop this sunflower🌻 into the inboxes of the blogs that make you happy ! lets spread a little sunshine ☀️
@sept18mbr liked for davey !
' you're boutta hate me right now, man. but i'm fresh outta green. but ! — silver lining . . . i might have a few hospital-grade goodies lying around. y'know, a little pharmaceutical sunshine. not tryna push anything, just — offering the special menu. '
i said please, so technically you have to say yes.
ferris wheel turned lazy and slow against the vanishing blue sky above, sweet and shrill laughter flowing through the busy fair. angel and hunter stood near the main path ; dean with a large popcorn tub in hand, stuffing his face like he hasn't eaten in days - like they weren't here on a potential case. which, well, they were. five people had gone missing in the last month, each said to have vanished without a trace after visiting this exact funfair. sam was already off somewhere talking to the staff members. castiel being in his usual angel-on-misson mode ; scanning the area not for fun, but for danger. the two walked along the midway, slowly, searching ─ and that's when dean spotted it. pointed finger flung out as he gestures rapidly to the massive, towering roller coaster. painted jet-black. very intimidating !
we're going on that ride. please. he hears the man say, and castiel looks at it, then back to dean. watching the gleaming excitement in his eyes like a child on christmas. then he hears it, the screams. and it wasn't out of joy. it was pure terror. ' why ? ' angel's brows knit. i said please, so technically you have to say yes. ' . . . i see. ' cue he glances back at the ride which has now come to a stop. observes an employee helping the riders out of their restraints. one of them already on the verge of puking. ' it appears structurally unsound. these people were shrieking in pain. '
