been playing modded scugs lately (after a year and some-odd months, geez) and what a pair of contrasting games

wanderer is from the newly-updated drought mod and wingcat is from the appropriately-named wingcat rising mod. the former feels like a mix of survivor (disorientation) and hunter (direction) in atmosphere, while the latter is like "weeeeeeeeeeee~! i'm gonna scale the wall in one cycle!"

eptember 12, 1992: Astronaut Mae Jemison became the first African-American woman to travel to space, serving as a mission specialist aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour. In addition to her historic journey into space, Jemison is also a medical doctor, engineer, and educator. She continues to inspire many in the fields of space exploration and science today.

Kensington & Chelsea, though initially resisted, had become home. Home would have been the place that Val felt safest on any given day. Only home had just been shot to pieces, so she found herself sequestered in her office in Camden. They'd sent the boys and Yael to the coast with their grandparents, just for a week, I promise, and though it was the smartest option, it left Valerie feeling even more uneasy. It was what led her to snap when a knock came at her door.

"For the love of God, you had better have good news." Extremely uncharacteristic for her and yet it fell in line with everything else going on. The attack, while not surprising, was still shocking with how direct and open it had been. They had crossed a line and it was splitting everyone's hairs.
