10 Famous Movie Scenes That Actually Just Copied Other Movies

It’s not really a secret that filmmakers influence other filmmakers or that movies inspire other movies. That’s just how things work. What’s more interesting is learning the origin story behind famous movie scenes, like how a Nazi propaganda film influenced Star Wars—or how The Shining’s “Here’s Johnny!” scene was a carbon copy of a silent Swedish horror film. Obviously, directors are paying homage to other directors when “copying” these scenes (Tarantino, anyone?), but it’s fun to find out how some iconic moments in film history were just cribbed off some little movie most people never heard of before.

Simple. Elegant. Those are just two of the words that come to mind when you look at this brand new Japanese poster for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It certainly shares more than a few traits with the American teaser poster, but this one just seems to say more with less. We have a new character, in a new environment, and she’s overshadowed by something we all recognize: the Death Star. More than almost any piece of marketing we’ve seen yet, this image explains what Rogue One is.

Honestly it annoys the fucking shit out of me how much my boyfriend plays video games when I come over. Most of the time I see him 2-3 days a week and he will legit spend half of the time we're together playing video games with his friend Alex. It's just kind of annoying because I know they hang out and play video games all day everyday, so why can't some time be spared for me? I don't think I'd be that irritated if they played for maybe an hour or so, BUT THEY PLAY FOR FUCKING 3-4 HOURS. My time is just being wasted, I'm being ignored, and I don't need to be here.

Picture Quality

So i have been convinced by my sister to create a Tumblr for my art. So here it is. However, since i do not currently own a scanner, i have to take pictures of anything i draw with my phone. Which, thankfully, is good quality. I am hoping that i can post my stuff on here without forgetting or being too embarrassed. But a warning; Posts may not be often. I do hope you enjoy what you see.

Two versions of the same picture. The photo on the left if just with my colored pencils. With the colors i wanted. The photo on the right is after i used the prismacolor colorless blender pen, and then i added white on top of it for detailing. It looks more finished to me. Which do you like better?
