Hospital food sucks ass...but only 3 more days until release! Meanwhile, with sucky hospital wifi, I’ve been thinking about what highly anticipated scene E4 will spoil for Season 4. In Season 2 it was the Cl/xa kiss, in Season 3 it was Cl/xa sex...what will they do for Season 4?!?!

Hi, @warpaint-in-my-eye (which is a cool url, btw), my header pic was posted as a joke/dare and I’m just too lazy to change it/haven’t found a good one, although I’m thinking I might ask a friend for one of her drawings. I make it a habit not to do anything that would sexualize Bob after watching the video where he and others at a panel, discuss his body image issues and his issues with being treated as a sexual object. 

I think my post is being misunderstood, so I wanted to take some time to explain a bit better my frustration. Note, this part is specifically for those who found it offensive, not targeted at any one individual:

1st: I think the normalization of WLW in both romantic and sexual relationships is hugely important and I think Cl/xa was so very important for doing that. 

2nd: I don’t think it’s a bad thing that ya’ll talk about Cl/xa sex often, I don’t think it’s a bad thing that WLW are so damn happy to see their love being treated as normal on TV. 

3rd: My comment was just that it’s very frustrating to find a great Bellarke post and then see Cl/xa sex GIFs as if that’s the only reason why their relationship is valid. Clarke and L/xa loved each other, they are “word of God” (JRoth) soulmates, they supported one another, provided one another comfort, there are a world of other things you could say about Cl/xa and why their relationship is valid outside of “they fucked”.

4th: When you focus only on the sexual aspect of their relationship it ignores those in your own fandom who do not like sex, are sex-repulsed or otherwise do not care about sexual activity and could be making them uncomfortable.

5th: The implication also exists that sex is necessary to make a relationship valid when you focus on the sexual aspect of Cl/xa in an attempt to prove that Cl/xa is more valid/more important than Bellarke (or other ships). 

6th: It’s wrong to call other WLW lesbophobic (or honestly, anyone) when we are simply pointing out that your fandom tends to focus on the sexual aspect of Cl/xa to “one up” Bellarke. Most Bellarke fans (I recognize there are some) aren’t saying “Cl/xa was only about sex.” what we’re (or at least I am) saying is “The Cl/xa fandom only seems to talk about Cl/xa sex-in Bellarke spaces.”

I really hope this clears some things up.
