For the last few months myself and @senawazer have been working non-stop to create Connecticut's biggest Environmental day of action ever. On September 20th, this Friday, people from all walks of life, in every city, in every state, in every nation, the young and the old are mass mobilizing to call on their leaders to take drastic climate action NOW. According to the @ipcc or the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, humanity only has 11 years to drasticly alter all forms of our society and economy, should we want to limit the worse effects of global warming from occuring. Think Florida underwater, ocean currents stop flowing, and a 6th mass extinction. It sounds like sci-fi but it's our near-future reality should we not act. This Friday join us, on the steps of the Capitol, from 12 noon to 3 pm, for speakers, a special action and delivering a petition to the governor's office. It will be a powerful day and I hope to see you there.
