So I’ve been procrastinating with this for about two months now since the idea first popped into my head and I sketched it, and I just got a rush of motivation and worked on it for the better part of a day, so here we go!! I got to scan it to!! which is pretty great cause a photo just couldn’t do this 11in x 14in drawing justice, yeesh.

This is basically what I imagine a book cover of bwac would look like?? kinda??? idk.

Book spine poetry falls into the category of “Found Poetry” — that is, poems made up of text lifted from different sources.

Okay so I kinda dabble in poetry and I’ve been super inspired by a bunch of fic titles and this is basically a fanfic version of a book spine poem, if you will.

Enjoy.

It Started with the Rain.

The moment I met you, I’d been Blessed with a Curse.

I had become The Monster’s Darling,

And now I’m Coming for you and your Simple Existence.

Please Hold My Heart Until it Beats.

It Doesn’t Matter to the Sun,

But Without a Doubt,

We must Cease Production of a Destructive Breed.

I think, though,

That I’ll Keep You.

Because you have taught me the Color Theory

Of the countless confusing Dimensions of this world.

You have taught me The Art of Cultivation,

That has provided us a Feast of Starlight.

And sometimes I think about How the Stars Guided you Home.

And I realize

I’m Yours.

The character dynamic between Anti and Dark in Blessed With a Curse by @galaxyghosty & @septicrier is literally my most favorite thing omg.

About fuckin time I draw Dark jfc.

Jack sucks in a horrified breath, blinking furiously at his own reflection, but the image before him doesn’t change.

He looks terrified, all damp skin and drenched green hair, but the inky black sockets ruin the effect. His eyes are gone, completely blacked out of his skull and Jack rubs at them furiously. There’s no blood, no black tar on his fingers and his eyes feel fully intact but the mirror is lying to him, showing him something unlike reality.

He’s halfway through one can with tension in the air so thick he could choke on it when he finally notices Anti leaning back against the headboard of the bed, twirling a hoodie string around his finger idly. It takes a couple of moments to process, but all at once he realizes that the hoodie is his.

Upon this revelation, he drops the can. It spills all over the carpet, and he just stares.

Anti doesn’t even flinch. Licking his lips, Dark murmurs, “Baby?”

No answer. Without warning, a smile curls onto Dark’s lips, amused and a fraction victorious at the implication, because he already knows the answer to his question. “Is that my jacket?”

Tbh the second I read this part I dropped everything and drew it cause fuck yes. Still probably my favorite scene in Blessed With a Curse by @galaxyghosty and @septicrier so far.

tbh feistymuffin (@feistymuffin), GalaxyGhosty (@galaxyghosty) , and Quintessentia (@septicrier) are like the holy trinity of septiplier fic writers. If you haven’t read their stuff, I seriously recommend it. All of it.
