It's basically a swimming pool but for people who can't taste or smell.
She’s ready to definitely cause problems on purpose!
a character i cooked up last month, meet Septima, the Sewer Scout!
19 & 20 for Septima!
19. What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?
Septima would like to think she’s smarter than most people, and she’s sometimes (unknowingly) harsher than she means to be when she tries to help people. And yeah, I would think so, though not necessarily irreparably. It’s certainly been an issue in one of her important relationships, but it doesn’t go as far as to make them fully dislike each other.
Though, her perception of herself as a smarter person is variable, she just starts off the story that way (see the next answer lol).
20. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?
She definitely compares her skills/skill level/general usefulness to other people, for both self-validation and self-criticism. It really depends, because she very much views herself in relation to the people around her. At her job in Valonvere, she did it for self-validation because she saw herself as the smartest one there (which, to be fair, was probably accurate). Once she’s with the guild she starts to do it and ends up self-criticizing because she realizes she might actually be one of the less useful people there, which kind of kickstarts her development on the point from the previous question.
