Sequel Trilogy if it didn't ignore the political climate of it's time
The Sequel trilogy was a mess. It was unplanned and clearly JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson did not see eye to eye. More than that, unlike the original trilogy which Lucas was radicalized by Vietnam and Nixon and the Prequels, which are more or less influenced by the Bush administration's justification for the "war on terror". So this rewrite will be if better directors with a spine made the Sequels could call out the clear fucking evil going on during the time the Sequels were actually being made. Also I was inspired by KMT coming out as queer, so queer Resistance aka Reyrose and Finnpoe as the romances of this trilogy.
Firstly, before we begin. I will state that Snoke is just a politician, not a Dark Side user. He is a cult like figure promising to bring "Imperial Greatness" he's like Trump and the Wizard of Oz, using this scary projection of Snoke, when in reality he's just a human, a man who tricked an entire galaxy into legitimizing a fringe radicalized movement into a new Empire.
I don't think there was absolutely no need for a Palpatine clone and eventually Palpatine himself(🙄) we all knew what was happening around the time this trilogy was being made. Trump. Base Snoke around the mango Mussolini and his lunatic fringe followers. An Alt-Right cult leader who cultivates the worst people imaginable. All The First Order needed to be was pointing out The New Republic brought the galaxy to an age of scum and villainy. A lawless state that usurped the rightful rulers that brought law and order. Basically "Make the Galaxy great again with Imperial Greatness"
You see, originally Lucas was going to make Palpatine JUST a politician and base him around Richard Nixon.

So I don't see why they couldn't do something similar with the CLEAR FUCKING EVIL going on in the world at the time this trilogy was being made. No Sith master was needed.
In this scenario, I would call The First Order, The Imperium
Now you might have questions. What about the Stormtroopers and Kylo?
Stormtroopers? Don’t abduct kids, nationalize and recruit them willingly. Abducting children and training them to be Stormtroopers instantly made The First Order out to be cartoonishly evil from the start. So what do you do instead? Use propaganda. Nationalize them. Make them believe The Empire was right and convince them that the life of a Stormtrooper will help bring order in a chaotic galaxy. We’ve seen cults do something similar, Far Right Wing groups do it and we’ve seen Trump radicalize and nationalize white supremacists, so it’s not impossible for The Imperium to do the logical thing.
Finn only leaves because he sees they are murdering unarmed civilians and chooses to leave. He is an example that it isn't too late to leave harmful fringe cult movements.
Kylo Ren is a representation of the whole "make so and so great again" someone who longs for the "good ole days" of Imperial Fascism, the good days that were never there. He was nationalized and radicalized. He found out Vader was his grandfather, he was even further radicalized and promised to bring back the greatness of Vader, something that was never great yet he's so blinded and so far gone that he just can't see it.
So how would Ben turn in this scenario? He's radicalized by Snoke. Ben starts hearing passionate speeches in the senate and Ben is moved.
"I know he opposes my mother, but he's making a lot of sense" "He's right, we need to bring order to the galaxy" and Ben is radicalized by this Imperium movement and what he believes is Snoke's righteous cause. To Snoke, Ben represents everything great about the Empire.
Snoke collects Sith Holocrons and uses the holocrons to turn Ben Solo into Kylo Ren.
During his time as a Jedi, Ben uses what Snoke has said and used them to radicalize his fellow Jedi and turn them against Luke. Those who would stand with Ben, would become the Knights of Ren.
In this scenario, I wouldn't redeem Ben. He is far too gone. He's committed atrocities in Snoke's name, for The Imperium and to bring order to the galaxy. While Finn represents those who could break away from Right Wing movements and Cults. Kylo Ren is far too gone, he's radicalized to the point where he's a die hard believer like Hux and Phasma and he's willing to fight and die for this cause.
Don't get me wrong, I love Ben Solo and Reylo in the Sequels we got even tho TROS botched Reylo and Ben's redemption as a whole, but in this version? That doesn't happen. You don't redeem fascism, even if he was indoctrinated by it. You don't get star crossed lovers and you don't get to have a dying sacrifice to wash away everything you've ever done. In this version Kylo Ren is a representation of all the toxic masculinity that the likes of Trump, Musk, Andrew Tate and Elon Musk brought to the world and radicalized impressionable young boys and why it's fucking terrifying and SHOULD NOT be romanticized no matter how you find the actor attractive.
Hux. Hux's father was an Imperial and he thrusted upon Armitage in his beliefs and while he was abused, he stood firm in those beliefs and decided to make The Imperium better than the Empire. To learn from their mistakes. Quality over quantity. Superior training and infrastructure over super weapons and military tactics over the force. The Empire lost because they were reliant on the Sith instead of superior technology that will reign The Imperium's supremacy over the galaxy. Snoke brought Imperial Greatness back. Hux will make The Imperium greater than the Empire ever was.
Phasma is the embodiment of might makes right. She grew up in a Mad Max like apocalyptic world and when the chance was given, she kills her family, leaves a dying planet behind and joins The Imperium. She trains and arms the Imperium with her experiences of always living on a dogeat dog world. She will never feel weak again.
As for our heroes.
The New Republic has been utterly corrupt. After Mon Mothma's term was up, she was replaced by bureaucrats, lobbyists and fools who never took Snoke seriously. Because of their incompetence, Snoke galvanized the disenfranchised parts of the Outer Rim and those who have been long forgotten by the New Republic, stoked the flames of xenophobia and promised to bring back their rightful place in the galaxy. The New Republic started out promising, but in the end they failed.
Leia can't believe she has to do this shit again. She had the chance to kill The Imperium in it's crib, but those idiots chose a different candidate as Chancellor. All because her parentage was revealed to the entire galaxy and to maintain the status quo. If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. Leia assembles The Resistance to fight Snoke and the Imperium. To make matters worse, her son is Snoke's right hand. She loved him and gave him everything she had and he chose to embrace her father's darkness and the enemy from the past. She doesn't want to fight her son, but she will stop him if she must and help avenge Ben's victims.
Han and Lando were admirals of the New Republic and Chewbacca was Kashyyyk's ambassador. They all planned and prepared for the inevitable war. Lando got all his old contacts to help arm and fund the Resistance, Han built a smuggling ring and helped smuggled supplies and weapons for The Resistance. It wasn't just one Falcon, it's an entire fleet, a flock of Falcon if you will(heh) Chewbacca got the Wookies to contribute their warriors for the Resistance. Ben's fall and betrayal hurt Han, but it only strengthened his resolve to help Leia stop Snoke and her son. Ben may have turned his back on their family and is trying to destroy everything they built, but Han stayed by Leia's side no matter what. They will stop their son and Snoke or die trying.
Luke Skywalker tried to bring back the galaxy and bring balance back. But he failed. He couldn't see how far Ben's indoctrination was. Something was different. This wasn't the work of the Sith or the dark side. He thought Snoke was powerful in the dark side... But nothing,, he's just man who talked Ben into becoming Kylo Ren. He tried to tell Ben the good man that Anakin was, but Ben only cared about what he thought Vader represented and because he failed to act, Ben radicalized his fellow Jedi, and destroyed his Jedi Order and left him for dead and for all Luke knew his child was either dead or among the Knights of Ren. But Luke had some hope. He left a map behind, only a true Jedi could decipher his location and whoever is brought before him, he will train and bring hope back to the galaxy.
Finn was a child of the Outer Rim. His parents were working class and struggled to go by day by day thanks to the New Republic's taxes and inflation on the Outer Rim. Finn hears about the Imperium and sees the Stormtrooper propaganda. Finn at first is skeptical, but he needs to help his family and decides to join them. The training is brutal and Phasma was harsh. But eventually Finn made it and rose up in the ranks and led his own squad. The Obsidian Squad.
The Obsidian Squad was comprised of his squad from canon. Slip, Nines and Zeroes. They had comradery and a dynamic you'd see from Predator. His squad gave FN-2187 the name Finn. They had many missions together. Putting down criminal scum, pirates and corrupt politicians.
But one mission changed everything. The mission to Jakku ended with a massacre and Slip dead. He was already traumatized by Slip's death, but fighting unarmed civilians in a backwater planet? He never signed up for this! And Finn corners a mother and her child. Instead of giving into his orders. Finn lets them go.

Then he helps save Poe Dameron and his life is changed for the better and throughout their journey, Finn will help Poe for the better just like he helped him. And Finn will inspire a Stormtrooper Rebellion to bring the Imperium down from the inside out!
Poe is the son of Rebel heroes Shara Bey and Kes Dameron and was inspired by them.(Go fuck yourself JJerio) he is the best pilot in the Resistance and will do anything to bring the Imperium down. Throughout the course of the trilogy, Poe will see the war isn't as black and white as he thought this war was, Finn helped him show the ugly side of the New Republic and how they helped push Finn and those who felt they had to volunteer as Stormtroopers and work together to save Finn's brothers in arms that they can and stop the Imperium altogether
Rey’s Scavenger background would still be the same, but Rey has become hardened and made cold by the dog eat dog world of Jakku and her own personal trauma of being left on Jakku. Her character would start out like Newt from Aliens and as she gets older, she’d become as cold and ruthless as Nadia from Pandorum. Her character arc would be this. Rey starts off as a scared lonely orphan who is consumed by the cruel world of Jakku and her own trauma. In The Last Jedi Rey trust friends, but scared to get too close. In A Spark Of Hope(My title for Episode IX) Rey becomes a full Jedi, calm, confident, loving, whole. Basically we would see her transform in the exact opposite way that Anakin did from a hate-filled lonely hurting person to one who is noble and full of hope and love.
Rose and Paige Tico would be in the story from the start. If I could change the Sequels. I would've made Rose a character from the get go, although her role in the Resistance would've been different, the Resistance Hacker and engineer. While Paige is the Y-Wing bomber in Poe's squad.
Paige and Rose like in their story from Age Of Resistance were radicalized and traumatized by the Imperium's crimes against Hays Minor and want to bring the hurt to them, but Leia saved them from throwing away their lives in vain. She gave them purpose in the Resistance.
It's her expertise and Finn's time as a Stormtrooper aboard Starkiller that allows Rose to hack into and disable their security to allow Finn and Han to sneak into SKB to save Rey and give Poe and Paige the chance to destroy the base.
Rey like in canon overpowers Kylo Ren and this gets his ire and realizes who she is. "It is you."
Han's death would be changed. Instead of a father trying to reach out and save his son. Han would try to stop him. Kylo Ran would rant to him the greatness of the Imeprium and how Snoke was wise and his vision is clear with a hint of ambition to overthrow him and gloats about destroying everything his family has built. Han can only look at his son with disgust. "My son is dead. Snoke killed him." "No father, I AM YOUR SON. I am Vader's greatness realized and improved. A Vader without sentiment, weakness with no cybernetics to hold me down. I'll give you the chance. Leave or die." and as Kylo Ren draws his lightsaber, Han pulls a Indiana and shoots him, it wasn't enough and Kylo kills his father. Chewbacca blasts him, but he's alive. Injured but alive.
Rey and Kylo fight. It's a draw but Rey barely manages to come out on top.
Rey would meet Rose before leaving for Ach-To. Rose is in awe of the person who defeats Kylo Ren and Rey is having the gay panic and thanks Rose for helping save her and they are bonded from that moment going forward. As Rey leaves in the Falcon, Rose gives Rey a Haysian smelt pendant for Rey to remember her and Rey embraces her. They just met and Rey can't understand why, she felt the urge to embrace her.
Rey finds Luke and instead of an ambiguous exchange. Luke simply smiles with a single tear leaving his eyes. "Kira, it is you"
Rey’s true origins. Rey would be the daughter of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade, Kira Jade Skywalker. Luke and Mara’s story and romance pretty much stays the same. Mara was an assassin and The Emperor’s hand, whom was conditioned by The Emperor to kill Luke Skywalker. Luke broke through to Mara and together stopped the Dark Jedi Joruus C’baoth. Luke trained Mara as a Jedi and together with Ahsoka Tano, Ezra Bridger and Cal Kestis, they founded the New Jedi Order. Luke and Mara later had their daughter Kira Jade Skywalker. Kira would’ve been a Jedi prodigy who passed all her tests and got praised from all her Jedi masters and drew the envy and rage from her cousin Ben.
Ben turned to the dark side and led the Knights Of Ren to kill the Jedi. Mara had a vision warning her of the Ben and the Knights attack. So Mara took Kira and fled for Jakku. Kira screamed for her mother “Mommy, please don’t leave me” Mara would cry and say “I’ll come back for you sweetheart!” A lie, because to save her daughter, Mara has to wall and block Rey’s memories. Mara Jade would go into hiding. She sensed something far more terrifying than her old master, but mostly Mara feels shame. Shame for leaving her darling Kira behind. So Mara cuts herself off from the force and becomes the bounty hunter known only as Zorri Bliss. She hopes someday she can return to her family and together they can stop her nephew.
Canto Bight, but it's Finn and Poe. Finn and Poe are tasked with freeing Lando Calrissian from a Imperium prison camp, while on this adventure, Finn and Poe will realize there is more going on with the Stormtroopers.
We see Finn and Poe differ for their philosophies. Finn sees The Imperium as monsters, but believes there is a chance that there could be more Stormtroopers like him to leave. Poe sees Stormtroopers all the same, but recognizes that Finn was the only one brave enough to say no.
Finn sees in the camp Stormtroopers hesitant of carrying out orders and worse? Kids? What is going on? He puts two and two together and realizes The Imperium's recruiting child soldiers and he will stop this.
So Finn witnesses more children being taken by The First Order. Poe’s eyes are on freeing Lando and getting out, but sees an opening to destroying the entire camp while saving Lando. Finn refuses to let anymore children be taken to be made Stormtroopers and won’t allow Poe to kill the kids in the camp. So Finn and Poe clash, Finn about saving the kids and suggesting not all Stormtroopers are the same and have the capability to leave, Poe believing all Stormtroopers are cogs in the machine and saving The Resistance is more important than saving a small group of kids and we finally get to see Finn confront Poe about killing his friend Slip. “Do you know why I finally had enough and left? The only friend I had in the Stormtrooper corps was killed on Jakku. Do you know who killed him? You did Poe. He marked me with his blood and then I realized…we’re firing on innocent civilians. We never had a choice. Everyone of us could run from The Imperium or even fight, but you don’t see it that way. It’s kill or be killed. This is why I wanted to run away, this isn’t my war, this war TOOK EVERYTHING from me. I only joined because the New Republic abandoned the Outer Rim, I had to do it for my family, but in the end, my family died. I have nothing left.” Poe feels remorse and is taken aback, until Poe sees that everyone in the camp….they’re all children. He sees the children being forced to become Stormtroopers.
And finally Poe goes “okay new plan buddy, we’re gonna rescue everyone here and burn the place to the ground”
Finn and Poe swoop in, kick ass and rescues the kids and leave the soldiers who refuse to open fire. The hesitant Stormtroopers? Finn's old squad. They pledge to spread the word of what Finn did and recruit as many as possible to stop the Imperium.
Where Rose and Paige fits into things? Paige survived the bombing run(cause Y-Wings aren't useless) but Paige's squad was all but wiped out. Due to Holdo's incompetence as a military commander.
If you read the novel TLJ:Cobalt Squadron. You will know it ends with Rose serving on Holdo's ship the Ninka.
Neither Paige nor Rose will allow the Resistance, LEIA'S Resistance to die for Holdo.
Holdo is withholding information that is vital to the Resistance’s survival. Rose is kept in the dark and believes this will be the end of everything and doesn’t want everyone's sacrifices to be in vain. So Paige and Rose covers Finn and Poe’s escape to Canto Bight and works with Connix and those loyal to Poe and leads a mutiny against Holdo. Remember. Holdo didn’t just leave Poe in the dark, she left THE ENTIRE RESISTANCE in the dark. So Rose would lead the mutiny and Leia would awaken to stop her, only Leia would not stun her. Leia would talk Rose down, ya know, like Leia would actually do.
Rey spends the majority of her time on Ach-To training with Luke and learning the truth.
“the force is strong in my family. My father had it, I have it, my sister has it and my daughter has it” “You were never meant to be left on Jakku…I thought you died the night in the academy.” “All those years. I was so alone.” “I know. I’m sorry.” “Did you ever try to find me?” “Of course. For so long I searched the galaxy for you. Everyone said that you had died that night in the temple, that I should give up searching. But through the force, I could still feel you. I knew you were still alive. Every face I seen, it was your. Every voice I heard, it was yours. It drove me crazy. I came to this island, turned away from the force because it was so hard. Feeling that you were somewhere in the galaxy and being unable to find you. Seeing you in front of me right now… I’ve never felt so lucky.” He wanted to turn Rey away from her family heritage and training her because he was afraid of losing her again. But now that he embraces her, he has never been so proud in her life. Luke will explain that Rey’s mother Mara Jade took her away from the academy before she could be killed by Ben during the academy massacre. Mara then took Rey to Jakku and blocked off her memories, so she can never be found by Kylo Ren or the First Order. Rey, now a Jedi will take up her family name and stop her cousin and bring balance to the force. It fits. Throughout The Force Awakens it fits, Rey needs to be a Skywalker in order for her journey to make sense. Rey is the heir to the Skywalkers and Kylo Ren is the Heir to Vader.
Kylo Ren and the Knights Of Ren find them. Rey and Luke fight Kylo and the Knights of Ren. It ends with Kylo cutting Rey's hand off and before he abducts her. The Resistances comes to the rescue with Poe, Finn and Lando coming through with the people. The remnants of the New Republic, old Rebel heroes, Han's smuggling ring, Lando's contacts and just people of the galaxy.
This is too much and Kylo runs...away with Rey's hand.
Ends with everyone united on the Falcon. Finn and Poe embracing in a kiss while Rose builds Rey's new hand and holds it
Luke looking at his daughter, Finn, Poe and Rose and tells Leia "we have everything we need"

Stormtrooper Rebellion
Kylo Ren's coup
and the fall of The Imperium
Luke finishes Rey's training and Leia trains Finn as a Jedi.
The episode begins with The New Republic mobilizing and united and preparing to face down the Imperium. The problem is their powers and capabilities are limitless, so The New Republic has to retreat.
To remedy this situation, Finn incites a Stormtrooper Rebellion.
Poe and Rose helps Finn broadcast a signal to every Stormtrooper via Phasma's flagship.
“My name is Finn, I was FN-2187, a Stormtrooper. Like many of you, I joined a cause I thought was right. I had reasons, a family I wanted to support. But I lost that family. I had a new family, the Obsidian Squad. Nines, Zeroes and Slip... We did good in our service, but one day our mission went wrong. Slip died and I realized we were fighting unarmed civilians. Slip's death marked me and made me realize We are people and we have a choice. I wasn’t gonna kill for them. I had nothing to fight for. Until I met my friends, they gave me a name, a purpose and something worth fighting for. So I am here to tell you. You have a choice. You are people. You do not have to kill for them anymore. Take back your lives and fight the people who took your lives away from you. I am giving you the one choice they never gave you and choose for yourselves. You can either storm this very room and kill us or you can take back your lives. The choice is yours.” Then we see an emotional scene where Troopers everywhere decide enough is enough and throw down their helmets. Officers DEMAND they put their helmet back on and kill The Republic scum, but they don’t. It happens. Rebellion.
Poe smiles proudly at Finn and tells him. "It was worth it right, to hurt them and free everyone?"
Finn kisses Poe
"Now it's worth it"
Phasma storms the room. She is pissed. This rebellion has lasted long enough. She wields a Imperium made Darksaber(not the real Darksaber, just a weapon constructed to fight Lightsabers) while Finn wields a Blastersaber
Finn tells Phasma she had the chance to kill him and Dameron 5 years ago, but she chose to let them go and they got away. Phasma’s Stormtroopers corner Phasma and attempt to fire, but Phasma kills them all. Finn fires multiple shots in against Phasma, but they all bounce off. “My armor is blasterproof, did you really think this would be easy.” Finn would tell Phasma. “This isn’t a Blaster Phasma. It’s a Blastersaber.” Finn then ignites his Blastersaber and slices Phasma’s armor and cracks her helmet and cuts her hand off. “You were always scum” “I am a Jedi!” Lando rescues Finn, Poe and Rose.
Phasma is broken and defeated. She is cornered by Finn and his fellow Stormtroopers. They demand her execution, but Finn chooses to take her alive. She'll answer for her crimes.
Kylo Ren's mission was to bring the scavenger before Snoke for him to turn, just like he did to Snoke. He failed, but in taking her arm. He could just create his own Rey. He uses cloning and dark side alchemy to create a Rey completely subservient to Ren.
They come to Snoke, Snoke makes a grand Wizard of Oz type entrance with the big gollum like creature, but it's a lie. The man in the shadows comes out beaming with pride for his right hand.
Kylo and Dark Rey kill him.
Long live the Supreme Leader and his Empress.
The Resistance finds out from a "spy" that Kylo Ren is planning on cloning an army to replace the one that The Imperium lost.
Kylo Ren broadcasts galactic wide propaganda(like Andrew Tate or Ben Shapiro type videos) to radicalize people to his cause and spread the message of Lord Vader
There's an attack on the facility while Rey and Finn confront Kylo and Dark Rey on Mustafar.
Before they all venture on their missions. The discuss the future. Finn and Poe plan to house all the affected Stormtroopers and the children who were affected by the war and help Leia build a better Republic.
Rey feels pressured to help rebuild the Jedi Order and Rose asks what she really wants. "I want a home. Someplace that's truly a home. Someone I truly love, you." Rey then kisses Rose and Rose kisses her back and promises to bring Rose back to Hays Minor after it's rebuilt.
Poe and Paige with Rose's assistance leads the assault on the cloning facility
Lando, Chewie and Leia will lead the fleets of The Resistance and the remnants of The New Republic and the united galaxy against The fleet of The Imperium led by Hux.
Leia leads the fleets on board and guides them with her Battle Meditation. Leia would also send Finn’s message to everyone in the galaxy, convincing them all to fight and take back their galaxy and take back democracy!
And the final fight between Rey and Kylo begins.
Near the end of the movie, Kylo has found the Sith Holocrons and contacted by the Sith Wraiths of Palpatine, Vader, Maul, Dooku and Darth Bane. By the end of the movie, Kylo absorbs the powers and has 1000 generations of Sith living within him. The Jedi stand with Rey. The force ghosts of Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Qui-Gon and Mace will guide Rey. A thousand Generations live in her now!
Rey was able to dispatch her dark clone, but with much sympathy and rage at what Kylo turned her hand into.
Rey, Finn and Ben are battling it is full of raw and emotional power and anguish. Rey and FInn are fighting to end this conflict once and for all. Kylo Ren is fighting to kill the Last Jedi and the galaxy’s last hope. In the end, Rey and FInn wins. Finn cuts off Kylo’s arm and Rey cuts his Lightsaber in two. Rey realizes Kylo Ren is still dangerous. There is no hope that he will have a sudden change of heart and turn to the light. But Rey cannot kill her cousin. So Rey does the only thing that could keep her family member alive. Rey severs Kylo’s connection to the force. He cannot harm anyone ever again.
The war is over.
The movie ends with Finn and Poe being married while Leia gives them away and Luke presides over the ceremony. Finn tosses the bouquet at Rey and Rose.
It ends with a reunion. Mara has returned and embraces Rey. She has her family and Rose. And regardless whether she chooses the Jedi or not, she's happy and that's all that matters to Luke and Mara.
The United Republic is formed. Think Galactic Federation of Free Alliances from Legends. Lando Calrissian is the Chancellor of the New Order. Lando is The Chancellor of The New Order. Finn and Poe has helped rebuild the worlds torn by war and helped the former Stormtroopers adjust to society and the war orphaned children and child soldiers. After much rebuilding, Hays Minor became habitable again Rey and Rose got married and settled down. Rose leads a sanctuary for all the children and animals who have lost their families due to the war and helps take care of them, but also Rose would lead an attack on arms dealers and war profiteers who have profited off the war and suffering of the galaxy. Rey and Rose ensures that no matter what, what happened to Hays Minor will never happen again and as a Jedi Rey will make it her duty to stop injustice without the dogmatic code. Poe and Finn as Ministers of Defense always keeping The United Republic's Military strong and on their toes so they can prepare them for whatever threat there is to come.
Kylo Ren, Hux and Phasma would be put on a Nuremberg styled trial as they are tried as War Criminals. Just the thought of the FO leadership facing a Space Nuremberg tribunal is too fun to think about. Just imagine Ren, Phasma & Hux backstabbing and shit-talking each other in jail.
Then we see the people who are the victims of their atrocities. Finn and the various Stormtroopers who were forced as children to kill for them. Eila and Kel from SW Resistance tells everyone exactly what Kylo did to their home planet of Tehar. Kazuda Xiono and the rest of the Hosnian Prime survivors will voice heartbreak and outrage for what Hux did, while Hux reminds everyone "I am not alone to blame, Supreme Leader Ren was there as I voiced the plan to Snoke, he did not object and stood by and watched from a distance and did nothing he is just as guilty.” Both Poe and Finn will come forth as witnesses to the massacre of Tuanul. Rey will then come to Finn and stand as witness to the murder of Han Solo. Rose will voice what the First Order did to her home and how Hux confirmed it when she was aboard the Supremacy. R2-D2 will come forth showing the footage of the Jedi massacre. Rey and Poe will come forth and say they were victims of torture by his use of the force and Rey then say “I gave him the chance to turn his back on the FO and save the Resistance twice, to save his mother and he still chose to let everyone die and he almost succeeded on Crait. and still gave the order to wage war until the very last man”
Literally everything is stacked against them and finally, Kylo, Phasma and Hux will get their say.
Phasma will be unapologetic for her actions. “I grew up on a hellhole. Each day clawing my way to stay alive. I killed my own family. Went from clan to clan. Then one day The First Order came. I saw my opportunity and I chose them. I saw power, strength, order and unity. And I did what I had to do to get to where I am today. I do not regret what I’ve done in the name of The FIrst Order or rescuing children and forging them into an army the likes of which this galaxy has never seen.” Phasma then looks at Finn and her former Stormtroopers. “Only you chose disobedience and cowardice instead of greatness. I don’t regret it. That’s the difference between us. I know what I am, and I embrace it. I’m proud of it. I fought for everything that I have, every bit of what I am.”
Hux will go on a Nazi like rant, saying the New Republic was a lawless and corrupt state that usurped it’s rightful government and it deserved to die! He shows absolutely no remorse whatsoever, only pride. “WE COULD HAVE DESTROYED THE LOATHSOME RESISTANCE, IF ONLY OUR SUPREME LEADER DID NOT LET HIS PATHETIC EMOTIONS CLOUD HIS JUDGEMENT!” Hux will say “LONG LIVE THE FIRST ORDER!” and does his salute and expects his former men to do the same, only the former Stormtroopers doesn’t do anything but look down in shame.
Kylo Ren will show just as little care or empathy for his actions. Basically he will say the galaxy fell without Imperial rule. Without the example of Darth Vader. He will dare claim “I became a stronger Vader, one not held back by sentiment or compassion. I killed the past and became better for it. I was abandoned by everyone, but came back to burn everything down. I do not apologize for ANYTHING I DID! I AM PROUD OF IT. I AM THE SUPREME LEADER AND MASTER OF THE KNIGHTS OF REN, WHERE WOULD YOU BE WITHOUT ME OR THE FIRST ORDER? A CORRUPT GOVERNMENT THAT ALLOWED SLAVERY AND A LAWLESS GALAXY? WE BROUGHT ORDER BACK TO THE GALAXY! I UNITED YOU AGAINST ME AND YOU BECAME STRONGER FOR IT! YOU ALL NEEDED ME! WHERE WOULD ANY OF YOU BE WITHOUT ME? Do what you will, I know what we did was right.”
WIth that, The First Order Triumvirate is sentenced for life in prison. Phasma still looking as the sole survivor. Hux uttering threats. In one final moment, Kylo Ren would be taunting Leia and Rey. Goading them all to sentence them all to be killed by a firing squad. Leia turns away with Poe wrapping an arm around her, Finn & Rey supporting her. She is with her children and she’s going to be okay.
Kylo Ren ending the trilogy as a disgraced and jailed war criminal seems to be the only realistic solution the more I think about it. Leia doesn’t lose her son but he faces consequences for his crimes. He absolutely must face the consequences of his actions and spend the rest of his life imprisoned for crimes against the galaxy and the Republic. Kylo Ren does not get to have a happy ending. He stood by as Hosnian Prime was wiped out, he killed Han, Luke and wanted to kill Leia, Finn and Rey and countless other atrocities. He chose his path and he has to live with the consequences of his actions.
