Can we talk about the immense emotion and tone variance from Angus McFife XIII throughout Legends from Beyond the Galactic Terrorvortex?:
•From the beginning in Siege of Dunkheld the sheer shock of not being able to battle Zargothrax and accepting that loss. The people cried out to Hoots and he had no choice but to retreat, with no idea probably on how to regain his power to match what Zargothrax became. He was too late.
•To the regaining of hope in Land of Unicorns, meeting with Ralathor again and seeing the beauty in the chaos. Seeing the sights he once knew and inspiring him it was still his and still salvageable.
•To the rising confidence in Power of the Laser Dragon Fire and the good old spirit of him preparing with the knowledge of the jetpack to charge the hammer. Another huge quest that he was ready to take.
•To the sheer thrill and surge of hope in Legandary Enchanted Jetpack and his realization that the forces of light have a chance. You just feel the wonder and power of him acquiring the jet pack and soaring over more landmarks and places he knew.
•To the utmost almost cocky and most confident tone in Gloryhammer now that the hammer is charged, locked and loaded and he was back on the offense. This is peak Angus. He now knows he’s not about to go down without a semi-even fight.
•To the sheer charge and leadership in Hootsforce. Angus has returned! Back, powered up and ready to fight this final battle. He knew victory was in the mile.
•To the tone of loneliness in Battle for Eternity when he realizes that even with everyone rallying behind him, it was up to him to set this dimension straight and follow his heart to saving the universe and his home. He knew this wouldn’t end well. It was up to him.
•To the once victorious but immediately perilous tone in The Fires Of Ancient Cosmic Destiny. We know how this ends. He fought harder than he ever had before in any quest to try to end Zargothrax and couldn’t live to enjoy it. A blow to a hero who traveled dimensions to end Zargothrax, when his lineage centuries before tried too. He didn’t fail, but in a way Zargothrax still won.
We have so many more adventures to travel with Angus and I’m excited to see where this next journey takes us. This is more than just music, this is a story of characters that have their own heart. Past the goofiness, they all stand for tropes and challenges.
