Aleth Bjørn (Sept. 17, 1859 - 1945) was a Danish marine painter who lived in the US from ca. 1900. Bjørn had studied at the Royal Academy and subsequently spent several years in Turkey painting the Bosperus.
After performing a commission of painted tapestries for margarine mogul, Otto Mønsted in Copenhagen, he relocated to New York and made a living doing tapestries there. Late in life he resumed marine painting and exhibited in the US with Gordon Grant.
