Now known as "feathered apes," parrots similar birds have been promoted to ape-level intelligence. You see the hoomin ego cannot handle being below other animals' intellects. Yet we are hardly alone in the pioneering sense. Mockingbirds are fabulous pioneers and their symbolism alone is meant to pause, turnabout and ponder our reflection and realize... we are all the same image reflected again and again like the colors of the seasons all over the Earth.
