Adult Danny/Dan/“Seraph” design for my Seraph AU!

Design notes below the cut.

Seraph’s suit design is still a work in progress - it mostly resembles Dark Danny’s suit at the moment.

His wings can be tucked away or hidden, especially if he wants to appear more human. Likewise, the extra eyes he can form can also be hidden and his main pair can have regular eye whites, instead of bright red sclera all the time. This helps to make him less intimidating during interactions with civilians.

The flame-hair is more stylized than Dark Danny, and is lovingly referred to as a “fire poodle” haircut. The flames from the hair trail after him as he flies around. The intensity of the flames die down or strengthen depending on his mood.

Being brought up by Vlad after the death of his loved ones (and even being mentored by him), his ghost side’s appearance may have been affected as a result. Seraph’s skin gains a blue hue along with pointed ears. He also retains the sharp canines and forked tongue of Dark Danny.

Despite years of mentorship, gained experience and overall increase in maturity, however, Seraph still likes to give Vlad grief sometimes.

I’ve got a Danny Phantom AU in the works that I kinda made back in 2016 but only recently started fleshing out! Further details and doodles below the cut.

Seraph AU

The Seraph AU is an alternate version of The Ultimate Enemy episode, mainly focused on Danny’s relationship with Vlad (Badger Cereal flavor!) and how, in some ways, he ends up reflecting Vlad’s own attitudes and behaviors. Instead of getting rid of his human side, Danny becomes more determined than ever to play the hero role and to protect others, if only to make up for his mistakes…

To better enable this goal, he seeks more power and ends up closely resembling an angel. This is due to the effect of an artifact he researched and found in the Ghost Zone without Vlad’s knowledge. The artifact initially grants him increased speed and firepower, but he eventually gains the ability to ignore other ghosts’ intangibility and can actually attack/hurt them.

I’ve thought about where his story could lead. There’s a couple ideas I have (one involving Gray Ghost, the other having him become Ghost King) and I’ve already made his older Dan form as well as “Biblically Accurate Danny”, but I just wanted to throw the idea out there and tweak his designs in the meantime.

While the AU is supposed to be more serious in tone, Danny can still have his goofy moments. :)

Depending on how things work out for him, he’ll either eventually resemble his lighthearted self again… Or repeat history and rule the ghost zone with an iron fist.

Hello anon!

No, Yamima is the first one seraph!Ryou talked to. He observed humans because he found them interesting, but he never felt the desire to interact before. He is an entirely different type of being, so he didn't see human as something worth talking to before Yamima. You don't make conversations with your food, right? It was like observing small animals or something for him.

So, about the seraph Sonic au, he can manipulate anyone that loves him in the romantical sense to some degree

In this au Light Gaia is pretty much the villain and Dark Gaia is just trying to keep things in balance, Light Gaia wants to make a perfect world, but with only light ruling, everything belonging to the darkness would dissipate. What would people do if suddenly no one had fear anymore?

So Sonic met Dark Gaias incomplete, smaller form and end up teaming up with them to stop light gaia, while sonic struggle with the overwhelming amount of light gaias energy inside himself

Seraph!Ryou AU: Sometimes Ryou is too tired/depressed/just not in the mood to maintain a human form, and will shift back into being nothing but a mass of wings and eyes. His favorite place then is Yamima's lap to cuddle. (Still need to choose how I'm going to name Yamima in this AU)

Note that Ryou make himself just the right size for this. He can be way bigger if he wants too.

Yamima doesn't mind the extra fluff.

About the Seraph AU: Is this just doodles? Full comic? Fic? Little bit of all?

Really curious because the pics you've shared are just too cute and I am wondering if there's a full on story of sorts, or just random moments that just fit inside the same AU?

There are other doodles (that I weirdly can't find??? idk what tumblr did of those posts??) of random moments, but I have a fic in the work. It's mostly a slice of life monsterfucker fic (will I dare post the smut parts or not, that is totally another question, it may just be a "monster-holding-hand" fic in the end 🤣), with a bit of plot here and here!

Usually in deathshipping monsterfucker AU, Yamima is the monster and is a being of darkness. I love those stories, but I thought "what if it was the other way around"? So I made Ryou a light aligned eldritch horror.
