A small parcel just happens in her new dwelling, as of course he’d know where it is, having helped her find a location.
It’s in butcher’s paper, tied with twine, and is rectangular, sure, but it has an odd angle to it.

"Uh, you know, Halloween is still like, seven months away right?" Devi giggled slightly as she pointed at the male's clothing.
“Four. And yes.” He bores into her with his ruby-red eyes, before the intensity of his stare calms down in favor of a sharp smile. “Have you never seen an honest-to-God captain in your life, miss?”

“Wayne?” The man echoed Devi in his response, still shining the brim of one of his mugs. Typically he wasn’t supposed to just disclose information about his customers on a whim, but the way Devi sulked in all despondent and defeated managed to yank at his weakened heart strings.
“... Yeah, I know him. One of my few regulars, actually. I typically don’t see much of him; most of the time he’ll buy his booze and scutter on out. Sometimes he’ll stay and chat, though. Not the most jolly or flattering talks, mind you, but it’s better than just watching him march in and out of here like a fuckin’ zombie.” Finishing up the glass he was working on, Ash slid it across the counter in place of a one still covered in suds and water.
seraphxphantasms replied to your post: “Gentle kisses on his chin then lips.”
"Sh." Oh look she's getting into his lap and kissing him more. Snide is more than a little confused, but he accepts it nonetheless, putting his phone aside to kiss her back, pulling her close.

In the aftermath... words were said, wounds were healed, yet more promises made... this time, by her for once... but while the crisis was nicely beaten down and out of the picture... the core problems remained.
Progress had not been made.
Promises had been made weak and untenable.
Rage and betrayal were still dwelling in his heart... even though he still couldn’t truly blame her in the end, and because of that the turbulence failed to calm down on its own.
So, he carefully took the time, after he let her get some space, a breather, to work out the best course of action...
...and then, all that was left was to deliver his ‘suggestion’ to her in person, returning to the room she had been in last.
“...Devi... its time we got back to what we should have been doing this whole time. What we both tried doing, either apart in futility, or together before we got distracted. Preparing.”

“Hey Mom, can I ask ya a question?” The youthful Chris looked up as he helped his Mother with washing the greasy remnants of their fish and chips from their plates.
Rebecca glanced down to her son, and she offered a fond smile to him, though she obviously looked worn from today’s work, “Of course, what’s on ya mind?”
Handing a plate to her, Chris now glanced aside nervously as he gently twisted the sponge in his hand, “I...Was w-wanting t’ask...” Bright blue eyes gazed to his Mother’s eyes, wide and curious, “...What was Dad like?”
seraphxphantasms replied to your post : Golden orbs appeared and formed into the ginger....
“What… the hell have you done to yourself?”
He looked away, ashamed of how he looked at the moment. Tainted by Primal energy to the point of it being visible. He had hoped he would have fixed everything by the time she returned.
“Y-You know how I haven’t been feeding? Well.. this is kinda just what happens when the amount of Primal energy in my body is higher than the Soul. I thought maybe I could find a way around feeding to get energy back and restore myself but..”
The small, defeated frown on his face said he didn’t.
“Only other option was absorbing my soul. Which I knew you wouldn’t be alright with.”
A gentle knock was given to the large door to Bjorn's den before the ginger waited patiently outside for him to answer. She hoped he'd answer and not his mate. The female fae scared Devi.
It takes a short while, but the door comes open slowly, in that foreboding way it does, metal and bearings shifting and clanking. In the door is Bjorn, just as big, just as angry-looking, but a little more tired-looking, as well, though he noticably softens- just for a moment- when he lays eyes on Devi.
“You have a way with timing. Come in, I suppose. Pray you don’t run into Vadis.”
