“ these ... divine beasts, right? ... they’re all named after them? ” // @serencgrace (♥)’d for a one liner!

❛ Please, let me help you. What can I do for you ? ❜
Sidon peers down at his sister from around the stack of boxes swaying dangerously in his arms, looking a second away from dropping them on his toes. Wouldn’t that be a sight? The Zora prince, dropping boxes this way and that!
Perhaps if he were anywhere else, it would seem strange for anyone to see royalty helping move crates of fruit and fish, but he was in the area, and the poor shopkeepers were struggling! His people were long since used to his determination to help in any and every way possible.
“Well, it would be much appreciated if you could take one of these boxes for me,” he confesses, a breathless laugh chasing after his words. He’d bitten off more than he could chew, again — er, carry? Never mind that. “Here. . .” Sidon kneels down so that his older — but comically shorter — sister could reach one of the crates without straining. “Careful, don’t strain a muscle.”
I really love the care you seem to put into Ghirahim, you have a lot of thoughts that you want to share about who / what he is, his fears and in general just?? So much that could be built up on that we didn't really get to see beyond Skyward Sword. I really am going to enjoy interacting as soon as I get back to our thread! You do a wonderful job and your writing gives him such a clear voice, I really can hear him in the dialogue! 8)
aaa thank you so much! your mipha’s wonderful, and honestly i’m starting to itch to get back to my botw link @bogenheld -- i doubt i will any time soon, as i do need another rehaul of his icons...... oops.
“ i’m jealous. father never let me fight. ” she sighs. to be fair, there had never really been much need to, and even then when she was young she hadn’t wanted to, either. but she’d learned once the dark king rose to power. oh, she’d learned. they all had, out of necessity. her eyes are eventually drawn to the spear in the other princess’s hand. “ are you any good with it? ” she asks, nodding at the weapon, and raises her eyes to meet mipha’s own. she’s smirking, brows raised in challenge and curiosity. // @serencgrace (♥)’d for a starter!
❛ Have you seen the others? Where have they gone? Tell me which way I must go to find them. ❜
there’s a pause with the princess’s words settling upon his ear. the thought lingers, a soft promise - a whisper that the ones he knew are long gone. he’s lived too long for all of this and the guilt after centuries of being abandoned and rusting —
pale lips once glossed in a brilliant white but now just their natural tone press together in a thin line.
“the others?” his response, face not showing a moment of the pain the thoughts left with him as he turned. a small smirk toys with his lips - facade of normality. he wishes instincts long gone unused would resurface in a moment of need. “of course - just west of here.”
"If it may ever settle your mind, I promise there will be no flooding of your home."
@serencgrace
Tanba is reminded of a time in the past where a certain divine serpent turned his castle into little more than a glorified waterfall, and he frowns at the memory. “I’d certainly hope my home won’t be flooded by you or anyone else. It took weeks to get all of the water out the last time that happened, weeks! What a travesty that was…”
