😍🥁 • @serenitydrums Hand painted Nebula snare commission for @toddsucherman. One of two unique Serenity snares now in the great mans collection. There’s so much in this one, I used glitter and multi chrome powders made by award winning UK make-up artist and dear friend @karlapowellmua within the painting of this Cherry ply shell. When viewed from different angles the clouds in the Nebula change colour. The coins the hand made leather and antique coin Serenity lugs are a one-off too, Australian 1 pennies dating from a century ago, sent to me by my dear friends @drummingco. Glen was one of the first I shared my lug concept with some years ago, and now one of my last Serenity snares has coins from his home land in it. Thank you Glen, your support and friendship over the years has been immense. The hoops are vintage 1970’s Premier die-casts, hand made in England from another time, giving chime and brightness to the throaty tone spectrum of the 14x7 cherry shell. They were sand blasted, hand painted with a blend of colours and finished in an epoxy resin and @karlacosmetics Merman glitter mix. More photos of this unique snare to follow.
