Ivy’s Fakemon - Fuzzibug/Serepod/Miramoth
(These sketches were kinda everywhere so sorry for them being messily spliced together)
I’ve always loved luna moths, so of course I had to make a line of Pokemon out of them. These are some of the few designs I ever gave more technical information in addition to just their names and types.
Fuzzibug - The Larva Pokemon. Bug-type. Height: 8". A lazy Pokemon that loves to eat and hates to share it’s food.
Serepod - The Cocoon Pokemon. Bug-type. Height: 1' 0″. Evolves from Fuzzibug at level 7. In my initial attempt at designing this Pokemon, you can see in the top left of the second image that it looked a bit too much like Walloon, so I changed directions a bit. The final result is one of my favorite fakemon designs I’ve ever made. Serepod is very slow an sleeps a lot, conserving energy in preparation for evolution.
Miramoth - The Serene Pokemon. Bug/Psychic type. Height: 1' 10″, Wingspan: 4′ 2″. Evolves from Serepod at level 11. Miramoth is actually the first Pokemon in this line that I designed. Once I was happy with the result I started on the other two. Miramoth is a sleepy but cheerful Pokemon. It loves to help out and the dust shed from it’s wings has healing abilities. It’s psychic power comes from the gem in it’s forehead.
