Sherlock headcannon
Sherlock and Sally have this weird friendship. Sally would call him out on his insensitivity, Sherlock would call him out on her idiocy. She'd tell him social cues to look out for when with other people, he'd show her what to look in crime scenes. They have a very callous way of conversing though, through name-calling and snide comments.
"See when he said, 'we should do this again," he meant never. He dump your ass."
"Thank you Sullivan, I didn't know that."

"You would know that if you actually surveyed the crime scene instead of flirting with the new officer, Sullivan"
"Fuck off, Freak."

You better bet Sherlock would be the proudest when she finally gets promoted as a Detective Inspector, although he'd never admit it.
"About time you moved up the ladder. you've been stinking as a sergeant for years, Sally."
The same goes for Sally when she's come to be the host to Sherlock's wedding. She had nothing but quick jabs onto his personality.
"Didn't think you have it in you to be a lesser asshole but here we are."
