One of my favourite SGA fics to highlight background/recurring characters. Bias could be claimed as the author is a good friend of mine but I really think she nailed not only fleshing out the named characters we know a tiny bit about within the canon they already had - Sergeant Markham, Dr Kavanagh, Dr Simpson, Dr Corrigan - but the 2 original characters she crafted for it too, Namura and Gupta.
It focuses on the original timeline of "Before I Sleep" with the idea that a scant few got out of the city in the other jumper mentioned in the episode. It's quite a poignant stranded fic that gave me feels even though this is not about main characters known and loved.
