Looks Like Deadpool And Wolverine Wasn't The Only Movie That Year To Reference *NSYNC.

Considering The Kinds Of AMVs That "Bye Bye Bye" Was Used For Prior To Deadpool And Wolverine, I Think That We're Due For An AMV For The Song Centered Around Ronnie Anne.

In All Seriousness, I Think That Just For Actually Foreshadowing The Twist, I Think That Punguari Is One Of The Better Twist Villains In Animated Movies. Here's Another Example Of A Good Twist Villain From An Equally Underrated Movie From The Same Year Based On A Paramount Property That Sadly Flew Under Many People's Radars:

I Thought He Turned The Baton Into Some Kinda Special Weapon At First. Never Change, Loud House.

So What We Thought Was Going To Be The Twist Villain Is Not Even The Real Villain? To Quote Mrs. Bernardo:

"She's A God, Ronnie Anne"

That Didn't Stop Buffy From Fighting Glory, Though.

"Ronnie Anne Is Gonna Pull This Off, Right?"

"Probably Not"

If There's Anything Lola And Carl Have In Common, They're Both The Spike Of Their Groups.

Of All The Things That I Thought Would Be Important Later In The Movie, I Never Thought The Chancla Would Be One Of Them.

If I Had A Nickel For Every Time A Loud House Movie Made Us Think A Major Character Was Gonna Die, Only For Them To Be Saved At The Last Minute, I'd Have Two Nickels, Which Isn't A Lot, But It's Weird It Happened Twice.

And Another Thing I Didn't Expect To Be Important For Later On.

While I Get That Nick Already Had A Deal With Netflix (Which Is Why The First Loud House Movie Is Exclusive There), But This DESERVES To Be On The Big Screen.

You Gotta Love How They're Just Piling On The Stakes Here.

You Gotta Love The Meta Moments In This.

The Animation Is Like, Top-Tier, Like They Brought Their A-Game For This. Its Animation Is As Great As X-Men 97 (Which I Mentioned In Part 1). I NEED To See What Else This Movie's Animation Studio Did, Like Right Fucking Now.

“Power Play (With The Casagrandes)” - Episode Review

We’ve come to the first regular length episode of the season (and the second episode of the season opening arc), “Power Play”. How did Ronnie Anne’s attempt to cut down on power fare? Let’s take a look.

The reactions from Hector and then Rosa’s reaction to the bill made me chuckle. I did enjoy the look into their past when they explained what their anniversary trip was all about. So romantic and sweet. 

Was funny seeing how Maria and Bobby used extra energy..Bobby with his multiple screens to chat with Lori and Maria with that incredibly complex looking espresso maker. Not to mention RA herself using a lot of electronics herself. Had to admit, they got very creative with the cutbacks, like RA giving her mom a personal foot massage then giving her the energy gum instead of espresso, RA putting her food in the regular fridge instead of the mini fridge and trying to combine a shower, clothes washing and tooth brushing in 2 minutes (which doesn’t go very well) The funniest tho was Bobby having Lori on a timer and her reaction when she found out..and then that funny freeze frame on the screen and Maria getting twitchy from taking too much energy gum. 

Got a good laugh at RA, Maria and Bobby hiding in the potted plants watching the others (especially when Bobby shows up in a potted plant that RA is holding up..hehe). We got to see how some of the other family members waste energy (like Carlota with her hair products, CJ with using the bathtub to play pirates and most hilarious of all, Frida going overboard with shooting pics of Lalo.). 

Love the trick RA used to get Sergio out of the living room with the laser pointer. 

Was fun seeing the creative solutions for each of them like Carlota’s hair poofing out (which she loved), CJ using the sink instead of the tub to play, RA encouraging Carl to push the train around (saying Choo Choo which he tries to resist but ends up liking it..hehe), Frida painting a portrait of Lalo instead of taking a pic and Carlos taking a bike instead to work (which doesn’t go so well). 

Got a good laugh at finding out Sergio was the one responsible for the high water and power bill (tho to be honest I kinda figured it was him all along) with him throwing wild parties at the Mercado every night (with the pigeons no less). So hilarious when he was busted by RA. No more wild parties for him..hehe. 

Was sweet at the end when Ronnie Anne gave Hector and Rosa flower bracelets to match the ones in their photos. I also liked her solution to keep Sergio from staying up at night..so creative. :)

This was a fun episode. Definitely had the feel of a season one episode with all the hijinks. I enjoyed all the creative solutions to the power issues and while I saw the twist coming, the reveal was still very fun. A lot of people have said that this episode is ‘The Green House’ done right and I have to agree. Overall the episode is not as good as ‘Friended!’ but is still a very fun episode nonetheless and a great way to kick off regular episodes this season.

The Casagrandes Movie Deep Dive (Part 1)

Before We Begin, Lemme Establish Something. I Definitely Heard About This, But It Kinda Fell Under My Radar For A Few Reasons:

1.I Was At The Lowest Point I Ever Was In Due To A Nasty Falling Out With Some Online Friends (I Since Reconciled With Most Of Them).

2.The Loud House And The Casagrandes Weren't Really Top-Priority For Me At The Time, So I Missed Out On This And No Time To Spy When They Came Out.

3.X-Men 97 Was Coming Out Around The Same Time (Though I Had To Be Convinced To Watch It After Being Burned On Marvel A Year Prior), So That Kinda Ate Up More Of My Attention At The Time.

4.Being Burned On Streaming. Ever Since David Zaslav Removed Shows From HBO Max Like The Fire Nation Did With Airbenders And Other Streaming Services Doing The Same, I Was Kinda Down On Streaming As A Result. There Were Only Two Movies From The Prior Year That I Was Excited To See When They Released On Streaming: Nimona And The Miraculous Ladybug Movie.

Why Is It That This Fell Under The Radar, (As Well As Transformers One) Yet Moana 2 Made A Billion At The Box Office? Do We Live In Bizarro World Or Something?

Does The BGM Kinda Sound Like "The Middle" By Jimmy Eat World To You?

Same Vibe.

Even If It's Just Cameos, It's Nice To See The Return Of Maybelle, Margarita, And Bobby's Not-Boyfriend Par.

No Amount Of Painkillers And Devil-Worshipping Parents Will Be Enough To Guarantee That Laird Will Survive All This.

Also, Does The Dragon Kinda Look Like Jake Long To You?

It's Nice That The Loud Siblings And Clyde Are Wishing Her Happy Birthday.

Also, Even If We Don't Actually SEE Him (This Time), There Is No Escape From Flip.

Even If It's Not For Long, It's Nice To See Bobby Sing Again One More Time.

I Have A Feeling This'll Come Back In The End Like The Troll Hammer On "Buffy The Vampire Slayer".

Talk About Accidental Foreshadowing On My End. Also, I Feel Like That Hammer Will Eventually Come Back Later.

Even If It's For A Quick Cameo, It's Nice To See Nikki, Sameer, Casey, Laird, And Bruno One More Time.

Also, Did Anyone Catch The Rita Palate-Swap And What Appears To Be Clyde As A Grown Woman?

I Think I'll Name The Latter Clara Or Claudia?

It's Kinda Funny How They Made Mexico All Vibrant While America Is A Barren Wasteland. You Gotta Appreciate The Moments Of Satire The Franchise Does Every Once In A While. That's Not Even Mentioning How The Series Used The Breaking Bad Filter:

"What's All That Wood For"

"The Biggest Bonfire You've Ever Seen"

Just Try Not To Drive Behind That Truck.

I Feel Like This Will Also Pay Off Later In The Movie.

I Never Expected Them To Bring Back Paco And Paulina Here.

"You Guys Have Been Biz-Zay"

Never Change, Loud House.

Was This Modeled After The Madrigal House By Any Chance?

However Much The Animators Are Getting Paid, It's Not Enough. With The Moments Of Fluid Animation And Impressive Visuals Of Seasons 6-7 Of The Loud House, It's Like They're Getting People Ready For This.

Is Anyone Else Being Reminded Of Happy Gilmore Here?

Run, Run, Run, And Jump, I Can Be A Backpack While You Jump, Swing From A Hairy Vine, I Can Be A Backpack While You Climb.
