Thank you so much, friend. Last night I went through all of the photos on my phone and made an album with all the ones I could find. He loved his sequin jacket! And dressing up fancy. He had a kilt too that he loved. Thank you so much—I already know that I’ll definitely be sharing stories more and more as time goes on. He was an amazing person and an incredible father. These last two months he fought so hard and he was in a lot of pain, but that wasn’t all that defined him. The 27 years I got to spend with him was so much more than that 💙💙

Ugh, no. Grace spent her whole childhood waiting for her mother to come home and tell her how good she is, how smart, how helpful, how hardworking. When that didn't happen, she sought validation from external sources - mostly adults, like teachers, employers, etc. - who praised her for her intelligence, her reliability, and her kindness. The more praise she got, the more she wanted to please.

Only now, as an adult, is she trying to start putting her needs first and not worry so much about pleasing others.

But there are still those times when Mason says "good girl" to her in the heat of the moment and it never fails to make her—

3. Do you have a favorite scene you’ve written? 29. What part of the writing process do you enjoy the most? (Brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, etc) 

Thank you for these questions my friend uwu/🥔 3 just answered here 29. What part of the writing process do you enjoy the most? ohghghjgjk uhh the whole process XD I do enjoy brainstorming and taking notes? I have lots of fun writing random bits of dialogue that pop into my head that I’ll suture in later on in the story. But really just the whole process. OH, I very much love creating new content (i.e. straying out of known canon/worldbuilding). I take weird delight in going back to read it all to see how it comes together and also to laugh at all the discrepancies that happen along the way. I love finding all the mistakes and having to figure out wtf I was thinking at certain times. It’s like playing chess against myself - that sounds fkn weird lol. Some people hate coming back to find writing not making sense but to me it’s very similar to connecting together the incomplete lore - except, it’s working around my own brain in this case and I often find myself writing (hopefully) better plots because of it. :D (ask list referenced)

I finished a whole cup of coffee while it was hot, a red leaf fell while I was walking, a spider web was covered with dew, the morning was quiet and cold, I made a cake and decorated it with the fancy sprinkles I’d been saving just because. (I feel your brooding) <3

👀 Dirthamen for the WIP?

Bet you will be shocked to know I have made exactly zero progress on this since I mentioned it lol. The concept behind this piece is part of the lore of Sule Tael Tasalal. I’ll get into it in more detail once I get closer to starting the second story but I’ve been putting thought into what each of the Evanuris has been experiencing while locked away from the world. For Dirthamen, it’s a labyrinth. Here’s all I have so far:
