AU: serial killer destiel :P
(I really don’t know. Please don’t hate me….)
0. Dean and Cas go to the same psychiatrist, his name is Joshua and his office includes a small green house in the back.
0.5 They both really want to kill Joshua, but they know that it will narrow the list of suspects to the point that they would be much more likely to be caught. And that SUCKS!!
1. At first, they both copy the same guy. He’s awesome. Some guy that eluded authorities forever, had family issues, had a good conscious in the end, went after real douchebags… someone that they could connect to. The authorities think its the same person and can’t find a pattern.
2. Dean gets really fucking angry that someone is copying him, so he changes his style of killing, taking on another famous serial killer, but he doesn’t like it as much. Cas recognizes the new style and just for the heck of it, copies it. It was obviously annoying the other killer. Cas, being the youngest child of a very large family and suffering from the youngest-child-syndrome, copies after Dean at every chance that he gets.
3. Dean figures out Cas’ pattern really easily. He isn’t as baffled as the police since he knows which ones are specifically Cas’ and which are his. He stalks after Cas with the intent to make him his next victim, but Cas is really fucking hot and Dean melts back into the shadows.
4. To ensure that they don’t get caught, Dean makes some truly strange moves to ensure that the police can’t find a pattern. Cas follows suit though, just as he did each time before, Dean realizes that it means Cas knows his pattern too.
5. Dean searches high and low for a serial killer that had a romantic side. He finds one and uses the MO. It means that he has to leave a note. He uses paper from one of the Cas’ victim’s work and uses a typewriter from one of his victim’s houses. The authorities think the note is for them. ‘Will you ever catch me?’
6. Cas decides to do research of his own and finds out that Dean’s copying one half of a married serial-killing couple. He’s flattered.
7. Sam is brought onto the case having majored in criminology. He knows that it’s Dean. He leads the police in the opposite direction.
8. When Dean and Cas meet, they kill two lovers and pack their things. They frame a horrible man for the thing. They skip town together and take to the road. Dean’s car, Dean’s home for a long time, becomes a home for two.
9. Sam shakes his head at the anonymous postcards that he receives and goes back to finding the ‘real’ bad guys. He’s a serial killer in a totally different way. He’s the officer that always pulls the trigger immaturely.
