This has to be said, unfortunately, but if you are a minor online and an adult reaches out to ‘mentor’ you or engage in long, serious conversations and does so with many other minors in an environment they have specifically created to allow them to interact with children, because they admittedly prefer talking to children rather than people their own age, that is not normal behavior. An adult should not be taking on a role of educating you when they are a stranger on the internet that your parents and guardians do not know about.
There is a time and place when these conversations and mentorship relationships can be appropriate and it does not exist in the anonymity of the internet.
