In this week’s edition of “my cat is a little snot” -

Called my cat for dinner. She came over, looked at me, and dropped a very-much-alive mouse. Then she sauntered casually off to check out her food dish. “Oh. Well, if you’re feeding me now, I guess I won’t be needing this.”

(And no, I wasn’t able to do anything about the mouse, because it promptly made good use of its reprieve to make a run for it.)
