OK SERIOUSLY IF YOU FIND A GIF or GIFSET of UNKNOWN SOURCE ON THE INTERNET DON'T POST IT TO YOUR TUMBLR WITHOUT A MASSIVE FUCKING LABEL ACROSS THE BOTTOM SAYING "THESE ARE NOT MINE THESE ARE NOT MINE THIS IS A REPOST THIS IS A REPOST".
BETTER STILL JUST USE GOOGLE IMAGES SEARCH BY URL TO FIND THE MATCHING GIF ON THE INTERNET INCLUDING ON TUMBLR. THEN YOU CAN FIND THE ORIGINAL SOURCE
If weheartit is universally acknowledged as "not OK" to repost gifs and edits from, then doesn't it logically follow that PINTEREST IS NOT OK EITHER JUST UGHHHHHH
I can't believe I was dumb enough to ever NOT whack a huge annoying watermark on all my gifs. What a fool.
I feel like just doing a really annoying protest - making a series of huge, very sharp, perfectly coloured, hot, sexy Jinki gifs and putting a HUUUUGE WATERMARK right over the top of the whole thing, just opaque enough to make it hard to enjoy, just transparent enough to make it possible to see what you're missing. Pointless it would be, but fun for me! Pah.
