It’s that time of the year again! Our graduating class of 2021 from Huntsville High is putting on the annual carnival that so many of our residents look forward to year after year. However, this year will work a little different than it has previously. Along side the carnival, there will also be a street fair where some of our local shop owners and businesses will be able to showcase any new products they have in store or just feel like sharing the things we’ve come to love.
As always, admission to the carnival will be by canned or non-perishable donations. Whatever has been collected by the end of the weekend will be delivered to the The Table Food Bank that helps to feed hundreds of families a year. Last year we as a community managed to donate almost double what the food bank was anticipating. Now I think we can blow that out of the water this year and triple it.
The carnival will have all the rides and games we’ve come to love with all the proceeds, as well as from the silent auction, going toward the senior class gift. This year the graduating class has decided their class gift will go towards renovating the school’s theatre. Saturday and Sunday, you’ll be able to enjoy everything the carnival and street fair will have to offer from 10am up until 9pm. And on Monday, you’ll be able to embrace your inner child from 9am to 8pm. Monday will also kick off the start off the silent auction. You’ll have all day to place your bids on whatever prize your heart desires.
Anyone who wishes to donate an auction item is asked to email Dominic Goldstein no later than May 19.
TLDR; the event in game will take place May long weekend (Saturday May 22 to Monday May 24). If you’d like your muse’s business take part in the street fair, please message the main by May 21st. The event will run from May 22nd to June 5th with the “winners” of the silent auction being announced on the last day of the event. “oh my gosh those boys are such idiots.” she said, laughing as she watched some of the others from the station running aorund and helping people on the obstacle course they had set up. “my shift isn’t until later today, what else is there to do here?” she asked, turning to the nearest person. “i kind of want to stuff my face with as much carnival food as possible.”
akio was currently manning the table with a couple of the kids on his hockey team. their parents were coming to take over in a few, but he found it was important for the coach to be involved too. “”we’re selling freshly baked delicious treats so we can try and buy new uniforms for our kiddos. what do you say? want to buy a cookie?”

wesley had agreed to take leia for a bit so that declan could go enjoy himself without having to stress over watching leia. wesley wasn’t working at the station booth the rest of the day so he was dedicating it to his little niece who he loved oh so much. leia had wanted to go to the craft table and while emerson was doing a craft with leia, he pulled out his phone to text sebastian to tell him to come hang out.

things with sebastian had felt odd recently. he wasn’t exactly sure what it was or how to explain it to others so he was currently ignoring it. it probably wasn’t anything. they were just best friends after all. he slid his phone back into his pocket and then looked up at leia with amusement. “oh! girly! you’re so covered in glitter! how did that happen?” he asked, letting out a quiet laugh.

“i’m still not exactly sure why people seem to be so interested in these things.” he said, glancing around as he watched a young couple who seemed to be trying to win each other oddly large stuffed animals that looked like they weren’t worth more than twenty dollars. sure it was nice to be able to wander around with his precious fiancee in the town that his dear sister loved so much, but this whole carnival thing had him very confused (although if he was being honest with himself it was oddly exciting).

Hi lovely members, thank you so much for partaking in the survey we posted recently as it’s incredibly helpful for us admins and I hope you guys too! Here is a summary of the feedback we received, as well as what to expect in the next month!
FIRST, the CARNIVAL EVENT will be extended a week, so as opposed to the original ending, it’ll now last until next weekend! That said, you are more than welcome to continue carnival threads after it ends. You just won’t be able to post new starters related to the carnival.
SECOND, we have plans to release a verse shortly after the carnival, as most people were interested in that. We have a MYSTERY VERSE written up but I would personally love to have a couple members proof read, just to be on the safe side!
THIRD, a lot of people were interested in a task as well, so we’ll be working towards releasing a task later in the month !
LASTLY, thank you so much for all your kind words, they truly warm us heart and help remind us why we created this group in the first place. We definitely hear you about the masterlist, though and are trying to figure out the best solution. It may take some time, but please know that we’re not ignoring this! We just have 176 wonderful muses !
