Beatriz was only slightly regretting agreeing to work the dunk tank. The one plus so far is that it was a great refresher to the sun blazing down on them. Also, it was raising a lot of money. There was just something exciting about hitting a target and watching someone fall into a huge tank of water. “Switch out for five?” She asked the other worker who was handing out the balls to throw. After agreeing, Bea got out of the tank, grabbing a towel to pat dry some of her hair before tossing a set of balls to the next person in line. “Tell you what, if you don’t get him out with these three, I’ll give you another three, my treat.” She’d be sure to pay out of her own pocket for the turn, but she wanted the kids to have fun. “And even if you do, I’ll let you go again just to watch him fall again.” She said, taking a step back as the kid smiled and began their turn. She watched for a moment before catching view of a familiar face standing nearby. “Gonna test your aim and try to dunk someone?” Bea asked as she stepped over to Charlie, keeping her eyes on the kids.
