23- : “You’re too weak to make a nest.” -crystalwards (Mors)
She was exhausted, overheated, and had a good buzz going to top the usual effects of a heat that just started an hour ago and the suppressants. But to hear that comment, the omega shot the alpha a deadpanned expression, not even remotely amused by such accusations.
Even if the nest didn’t look the greatest, it served its function. Somewhere soft, had access to a nice draft, and somewhere to charge her phone near an outlet. Given, at that moment, she barely had a couple pillows down before she opted to just snuggle into a blanket she had with her and curl up with one of the pillows.
“Fuck you.”
“Not for at least a week or so. Need to let you rest, dove. But what I can do, you cussing me out or no,” Mors said, gently, as he took a long drag from the joint he’d started on not long after getting home.
He was lucky her heats didn’t cloud his mind much at all. It was easy to function around her, so he carefully pulled out a large fluffy blanket from the armiger, tucking it in beside her, making sure it wasn’t in the way of the draft.
As he turned, he moved to his closet too, starting to pull out large and comforting pillows of several sizes and shapes, that could be fit into her nest. Moving to her he offered them to her first, before gently tucking them in around her. Afterwards he got an extension cord, plugging her phone charger into that and making it so she could twist and turn and primp or cuddle in the nest to her heart’s content without having to pull her phone away. “Better?” he asked, his tone gentle.
