This had been a terrible mistake.
The instant Luna step foot within the temple, a feeling of utter misfortune shot through her veins like lightning. She silently cursed whatever wanderlust possessed her to come out here, whatever careless and reckless desire brought her to the place. Terrible things had occurred here, she knew that— no, she could feel that, perhaps not through her own senses, but in the immediate foreboding her Duel Spirits passed onto her.
A protective feeling washed over her, and Luna did not need to turn to know that Victoria's incorporeal form was floating behind her. Still, despite the eerie air of the place, Luna spoke in her usual candor. "Don't need to hang over me, you know," She began, keeping her voice low. Despite the general unease resting heavy in her veins, the place still felt like one of reverence. "Nothing's attacked me yet," The brunette girl said in jest, a small smile on her features as she turned to her guardian.
The smile faded quickly. A tense wing swung towards the deeper part of the temple. No, Luna was not alone. The temple was not abandoned. And though she had every opportunity to run, curiosity burned hot in the girl's heart. "Hello!" She called out tentatively, walking further from where she had entered. Careful footsteps brought Luna deeper into the temple, winged Duel Spirit trailing cautiously behind her.
