Serreno Headcannons

Ok! Here’s what I’ve been working on lately!

At the Dawn

Serreno was first colonized many eons ago when Alderanni had first discovered space flight.

The original colonists consisted of 12 houses that had participated in a rebellion against the Queen, as they saw women as "unfit to rule". 

As Alderaanii are pacifists, even back then, they banished the rebels instead of killing them. 

The banished nobles, led by His Grace, Count Regnus Dooku, raised a big fuss, calling the Queen “The Wolf Queen” for banishing them

even though Serreno was almost the exact same as Alderaan in temperature, size, etc. 

Over time, Serreno became a mainly resource based society instead of a production based one.

When Alderaan and the Core Worlds first founded the Republic, Serreno was very hesitant to join, as it had a long standing grudge against Alderaan, 

and so has always had rock relations with the Republic. 

The relations did improve greatly, due to the arranged marriage between Queen Myanah the III and Countessa Jew'lah Dooku, First Born Daughter of House Dooku. 

The Clone Wars

When Darth Tyranus caused Serreno to quit the republic, not to many people were shocked 

Serreno would frequently leave the republic for 100 years or so and then rejoin, 

the war was a huge shock.

The Empire

So at the time of the Empire, Sidious graciously allowed Serreno back in to the Empire,

It was represented in the senate by the young and cocky  Senator Charleaus Dooku, Scion of House Dooku and great nephew to Tryanus. 

He frequently found himself in conflict with the young Princess-Senator Leia Organa, 

She felt he was an "arrogant, violent, pig, who was not fit to lead a group of younglings, let alone a planet. And if he dares to suggest that I should become his consort again, he will find that the the relations between our two planets will become quite...tense." 

Despite Senator Dooku's best efforts, Leia would demonstrate only contempt for him. 

A lot of Alderaanii refugees immigrated to Serreno after The Calamity

And beyond!

Serreno would later vote to join the New Republic after the death of Palpintine at a ratio of 11-1.

 Guess whose voted against it?

LOL

Later on, The Lady of Silver, Antaria Dooku, third in line, and Jedi Seer, would fall in love and get married to Jaina Solo, Heir Apperent to the Crown of Alderaan, Jedi Master, and Ace Pilot, but that’s another story...

Culture

Serreno has a formalized and overly complicated ways to do EVERYTHING. 

You don't just address Count Dooku as "Your Grace", you address him as:

 "Your Most High and Excellent Personage, Warden of the Crystal Sword, Holder of the Golden Staff, Protector and Provider for all Your Loyal Subjects, may You live a Long and Noble Life." 

This is the type of title all the nobility have. 

Each different House has its own customs for things like body guards 

(House Dooku prefers the best off-worlders, House Tyrall only accepts female guards who have been ritually prepared, etc). 

There is even a traditional way to plant gardens. 

Sword fighting is a very important thing on Serreno, and it holds galaxy-renowned sword competitions each year. 

Beings from all over the Galaxy come to watch. 

Serrenons always refer to the Queen of Alderaan a “The Wolf Queen” or just “The Wolf”

Over time, it became almost a respectful term for the queen

Almost...

Also too, wearing Black became a symbol of nobilty of Serreno, even though it was a symbol of death on Alderaan.

This is because wearing white was a symbol of nobility on Alderaan.

It was basically a giant flip of to Alderaan.

Language

Serreno also still has High Anya'tayah as is second language.

 This was the language spoken by nobles before Alderaan discovered space travel. 

It sounds very much like a mix of Latin and Spanish.

Only the Royal Family and Intense historians speak it on Alderaan anymore

It it is required knowledge for any member of The Great Houses. 

Senator Dooku and Leia mainly use it to insult each other in pubic. 

The most common curse used on Serreno it to "Damn it all to the Depths of Darkness!"

Kanye West vs The xx - Touch the Sky (Carlos Serreno Mix)

Works great! The xx's "Intro" has been used for many mash-ups and remixes. This mix is definetely my favorite. Kanye West's "Touch the Sky" features Lupe Fiasco and is arguably "Late Registration"'s most famous track. Either that or "Gold Digger ft. Jamie Foxx". The melancholy of "The xx" is surprisingly attractive so this is a perfect song.

However, around the  0:50, I think Carlos Serreno should've shifted Kanye's verse earlier. That is my only problem with the track. There is no download link. I recorded the streaming audio from the youtube video.
