Tell me more about the servamp/Mikaelsons/Mikaelson- sin thing
Thank you so much for asking.
A crossover with the Manga Servamp, mostly taking the concept of servamps and reformatting it to the Mikaelsons.
Backstory
Esther lost all her children to freak accidents, illness, murder and suicide in a couple of months and it drove her a little mad. She made a deal with a devil and got the hearts of seven demons, the sins of Adam, incarnations of sins, to set in her children's souls. Binding the sins to her children as their new hearts using the lives of hundreds of humans she did it bringing them back in a way she would never risk losing them again.
They didn't take to their new existence well, losing themselves to the demonic sins that now lived within them; Freya watched her husband choke overcome with Sloth to help him, Finn in a fit of Pride at his new self killed and turned his lover into one of them and Elijah swallowed by lust consumed his betrothed.
Horrified by those events and neither of their parents care for them Freya took her siblings away, running to isolation so they could learn to live anew, eventually they spilt up to seek out lives of their own but Freya insists on a family deal every few decades.
Key terms
Servamp - first vampires, only ones that can make new vampires.
Most of the time they can't access they're full powers and act more as seals on the demonic hearts they now carry.
They tend to be referred by thier sin by those who don't know them, each of them has very different reactions to it.
They live on blood and when fully fed and powered the can withstand sunlight with little grumbling, however when weakened it revert them to their smaller animal shape.
Power saving mode as some of the current eves call it.
Subclass - former humans made into vampires by a servamp, some remain with their servamps
Eves - mortals that make a contact with a servamp allowing the servamp to access their full power without losing themselves to the sin, while giving the mortal a chain to control or pull the servamps back and a taste of that power.
This doesn't make them themselves immune to the sins their servamps carries and over time many of them, due to close contact with the sins aura, can become corrupted.
The contact is formed by giving the servamps a item, name and some of their blood.
A servamps can kill their Eve, however it's looked down apon and judged because breaking that bond Hurts. Most commonly if a Eve loses themselves to their Servamp’s sin, they call one of their siblings or a trusted subclass to end it.
(Sage has killed many of Finn's Eves to spare him doing it, Rebekah calls her brothers' the moment one of her Eves manages to hit her and Tristan has gotten very quick at ending Elijah's Eves the moment they stop listening to Elijah's “no's”)
Freya has had the least amount of Eves with Keelin being her first, Klaus has had the most, although that has been likely due to his growing insanity, finding interesting humans, tricking them into the contract/bond and then killing them when they start to bore him after his Eve Aurora's death.
Werewolves - rare and scattered. They are a natural mirror to the servamps as they can lose themselves to their wolves if not for a loved one calling their name. They are mostly immune to the sinful auras.
Witches/magicians - humans born with a deep connection to nature and reality. Once spread out in villages and communities, recently they've started to collect in organisations and set themselves against Vampires, to fix the mistake one of their own made in making the Servamps.
Even though the oldest, largest and most powerful of these organisations was rumoured started by a vampire.
