In Factions, Aaron and Matt are brothers. They're parents were... unenthusiastic to say the very least, leading them to lean on each other for support. Matt is the very protective, kind of asshole big brother, while Aaron kinda followed him around like a puppy (this barely changed as they got older, Aaron just became a little more subtle about it). The little stuffed cricket that Aaron is holding was Matt's that was handed down to Aaron as a gift from his older brother.
He still has it to this day...
