Rosie is so done with my shit today.
Spent all night coughing so she, rightfully, assumed I would not be working.
Instead, I got up earlier than normal for a Friday and got dressed and ready to leave the house.
Rosie: wtf?! Take meds and go back to bed!
I got her ready to leave
Rosie: no. No. No. No. BED. NOW.
Go to the doctor. Had the appointment for a while to update doc about everything this last year but since I'm still sick I wanted her opinion.
Rosie: *mildly grumpy* it is the sick people place. I GUESS it's ok. But bed solves everything so its not necessary to be here.
Doc prescribes some new meds to help get over this shit. Ask for it to go to usual pharmacy (Walmart) so I can pick up some more soup and mashed potatoes.
Drive into town to Walmart.
Rosie: oh fuck no. You need to be in BED. NOW.
Decided to stop at Aldi for this lasagna they have because fuck it it's my birthday and I want something somewhat nice tonight.
Rosie: *disgruntled Rosie noises* *spends the whole trip subtly pulling towards the door to leave* (this is technically something she's trained to do when I am about to have a panic attack. She's trained to lead me away from things that can exacerbate the attack. She's been learning that I don't always do things necessary to care for myself, like rest, so she will often herd me towards places or away from things when she feels it's necessary and 99% of the time she is 100% right. She doesn't walk away from me, just kind of pulls the cart in the general direction of the checkout and doors. If I drop her leash or leave the cart she stays put even if I step across the aisle)
Finally get home. Very worn out and field of vision is kinda dark around the edges so I know I pushed too hard.
Rosie: FUCKING FINALLY.
Curl up on couch to eat something.
Rosie: yes. Good. Finally. *lays on top of me so I can't move*
After eating I gently push her off and go towards the bedroom.
Rosie: she's finally listening!!! *lays on top of covers for a while to be sure I stay put*
After a while I gotta pee.
Rosie: *EXASPERATED ROSIE NOISES* (like actual huffing and sneezing at me)
Don't worry love. We're going back to bed soon as I'm done. Lol She's on the floor next to me huffing and sighing every few seconds. 100% she'll dart back to the bedroom soon as I get up and wait expectantly at the door.
Don't anyone tell me she isn't a service dog.
